lol, yes, it's quite obvious that Link blushed. That redness only appeared on his face/cheeks. To think otherwise only shows denial. "Fog effect" only on the cheeks when a hot chick appears? lul, I think not.

Anyway, I don't think those characters were meant to be used for homosexual innuendos. I really think that they were meant to add levity to the games. What's a Zelda game without some silly NPC?

Dude it's the N64. It's not gonna have the best graphics in the world. It's just the fog effect.

Edit: You know the more I think of it. The less I think that these guys are supposed to be gay. I mean these are games that were for the most part made in another country with a different culture. This may just be what they consider more as comic relief than actually being gay.

If that's the case, you'd think there would also be red on other parts of him.

As Erikson said, that reddening of Link's cheeks only occurs when the combined Twinrova shows up, so it doesn't appear to be the fog effects.

But its not even red. It's just darker looking so that means it's just shadow.

If that's really supposed to be him blushing, someone ****ed up big time, because that looks ridiculous.

EDIT: You can even see it on his hair (on the right).

I stand corrected. It can be both ways considering the redness is positioned "correctly" before and after the tilting as is might be intended.

There is some shadow, but I have tested it out before and Link's cheeks do in fact become red. There was also one video I saw where his cheeks even looked distinctly pink.

I'm pretty sure it's a trick of the light. If it was meant to be a blush, the designers would have made it more obvious. As it is, it still just looks like a great big shadow across his face to me. The fact that it changes depending on whether Link has his head tilted back or not is a strong indicator.

It being a minor side-effect in an attempt of using the fog to make him look temporarily blushing (other than for the scenery) is my take on it. The red stays on there even after the tilting (back to its original position) and if you manage to get the view of his face that close during the course of battle you will not see it.
