The Reggie-lution

Nntendo of America's head of sales and marketing, Reginald Fils-Aime seems to be a real head kicker. That's a good thing by the way. It seems that Nintendo has finally got someone who isn't afraid of marketing. Regg-hammer came out at E3 and said, "I'm about kicking ass, taking names and playing games."

At the Pre-E3 2004 Press Conference, he oozed style and confidence and occasionally ripped into Nintendo's competitors. Will this man change Nintendo's position in the console market? Let's hope so.

If only we had someone like that in Australia.

Re: The Reggie-lution

Yeah, Reggie just plain kicks ass (and takes names, for that matter). There are already tons of pictures out there detailing him doing just that...I'll have to post some here.

Re: The Reggie-lution

It's about time Nintendo dropped all this "keep it simple, stupid" stuff.

It's kind of funny, because all the little whinners at the forums at Nintendo.com, (Don't ask why a 14 year old kid would go there.) are complaining about it.

Re: The Reggie-lution

Yeah he is pretty cool, but.... I think perhaps he was a bit.... dependant on the teleprompters at the Nintendo E3 press conference. If you watch it(find it at Gamespot) you'll notice him looking up very often. But for what I could see at the end of the video, everyone was sitting in the floor, no balcony or something like that. And then the guy after him was constantly looking down(maybe more teleprompters, or just cue cards, or maybe yet still, just the audience). Eh, who knows. But yeah, I did like his shot at Microsoft.

"There's another company out there who doesn't care what games you play, as long as you do it on their Operating System."

That isn't a direct quote, just what I could remember.

Re: The Reggie-lution

Those are very funny pics. I've seen heaps of Reggie puns but I can't remember them all. One was that he should run for Regi-dency of the United States. Great pics
