Damn dude! I think its Abel that ended up annihilating everything. (in mine that is)

All three of 'em ended up kicking ass in mine (that is, Abel, Cain, and Frey). Frey was initially the least used, but ironically became the strongest by the end, followed by Abel and then Cain.

I need to restart my file, but instead of killing off Cain first, I should kill off Jeagan. Essentially useless.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I sold my copy. NVM. XD

What, does your mum routinely check to see if you've been pirating things? I emulate all the time and my mum doesn't give a ****, or even know about it really.

I actually never purchased Shadow Dragon. Tell me, is it worth buying?

That depends on what you look for in a Fire Emblem game.
It's pretty much straight-to-gameplay, which I thought was great for a handheld FE. That means it doesn't have any story or character personality, but I'm sure nobody really cares.

It's got several difficulty levels and a few hidden chapters (although I forget how long the main quest was). I also like the save point feature, and the class-change feature is kinda cool as well (General Wolf + Hero Sedgar = rape everywhere).

It wasn't outstanding, but it was a good portable FE game in my opinion.
Kinda humble is how I might describe it.

I killed both Gordin and Jeigan at the beginning, the girl you get when 2 people die in that chapter is a better archer then Gordin

^Only as an archer. Gordin is a helluva lot better sniper.

I actually never purchased Shadow Dragon. Tell me, is it worth buying?

Good question. I never purchased it either. In terms of FE is pretty basic and straightforward. Problem is they added reclassing which i think is really gimmicky. I guess it could be fun to see what Lena would end up as in the long run (i made her a peg knight), but all in all i didnt see much point in that. Its really up to you if you want to buy it.

Buy a USB stick and put all your roms/emulators on there. Emulators don't have to be installed, and SNES roms are normally only a few megabytes in size.

Anyway, so I'm gonna start FE4 again. I got to chapter 2 or so then stopped for a few months. I had a plan for which characters I wanted to "hook up" so I could get an awesome second generation, but I have since forgotten it.

The only pairs I remember wanting is Aideen+Midir and Lex+Aira.

((Aira is hot by the way. I also assumed Midir was a chick during the first chapter))

And on another topic, I have always been OCD about my characters being the same-ish level, and I am also OCD about them dying. If one dies, I restart the chapter. Anyone else this way? How many of your characters normally die in a play through, and who are they normally?

I have the same OCD with the dying part. I don't care for the levels, though I like getting as many as possible up to a really high level in the arena stages. God knows how many times I've restarted on the side chapter in FE7 after you save Caelin from the Black Fang assault, as well as the first arena chapter in Sacred Stones. In FE7, I once went from dirt poor to 50K gold so that I could get an Ocean Seal to promote Dartz, and then maxed him out.

And I just now remembered that this is the wrong FE Thread. My bad.

FE4 is haaaarrrrd. I literally feel my pulse rise when I end my turn, wondering if one of my characters will die or not. When they do, I go back and change my character's arrangements, and then another one dies as well.






Am I being too careless/reckless with my units?

Fire Emblem 4 and 5 were amazing. Those games got me into the series.

Beat Chapter 2 of FE4. I just had to lure the enemies out into the open, then attack-and-run with each of my characters until they were all gone.

****, my mom don't really care since I'm a grown ass man. okay she does care only becuase they may carry viruses but that's it seeing I only play on my flash drive.

Yeah, I had to start from an earlier save, then lure them out and kill them one by one. Had to do the same thing with the next two castles as well.

I panicked at first when the Pegasus Knights and the enemies from that other castle were heading towards the place I started out in, then remembered that Aideen had a warp staff.

I was very impressed with the AI at this point. When I had Arden guarding the castle, the Pegasus Knights attacked him. When I loaded an earlier save and put Jamka in Arden's place, they did not attack him.

I did it though. 90 turns, it took. XD Mostly because I was trying to get Sigurd to go through the mountains, but he couldn't get through the forests on either side, so I had him go all the way around.

So guys, who is the best lover for Aira in FE4?

It's either Holyn or Lex. Lex will give both kids Elite and Ambush, as well as minor Neir, and Holyn will give the kids Moon Sword, as well as major Odo.

It doesn't matter which one, really. Both of them result in Lakche and Skasher being gods.
