Re: More games than friends.
I have more games than I think is humanly possible to have friends outside of the Sims games. Really, what is really halting my social life is the computer, though, since I spend most of my free time on here. I should be asleep right now.

I have more games than friends, and I don't care. My games love me for who I am. Most humans I know are b*stards.

Yes, because that means I totally spend more time with my games than my friends. Look, can I have sex with any female video game characters? No. That's why I hang out wiht my female friends.

Re: More games than friends.
I have WAAAY more video games than I do friends. I have at least a hundred games. So, by using the logic of that advertisement, I should have over a hundred friends or I'm a loner? That complete bullcrap. That advertisement seems like just another jab at video games, which the media seems to love to do.
Is there anything wrong with being a loner anyways? Some people perfer to be that way. It doesn't necessarily mean they're socially inept, its just that they want to keep to themselves more. I'm not really a loner, I have plenty of friends, but I don't judge people who don't seem to like going out all the time.

Re: More games than friends.
More games than friends is a bad thing? What about books or movies?
What I don't get is, if there are people who would make a big deal out of something like this, their motivation. Are those who are making the claim that it is wrong trying to attack gaming as a hobby, or are they trying to make it seem like being an introvert (Having a few close friends instead of being extremely social) a bad thing (Which it isn't)?

Re: More games than friends.
sure i have more games than friends, because games pile up quickly, you don't make new friends all the time. That doesn't mean i sit around gaming all the time(i've actually started having headaches if i play more than 2 hours one day...i've become a casual!!!!), but i don't hang out with a bajillion friends all the time.
Many of the "hipsters" in my school have a lot of "friends", but i can see they aren't really that close, i prefer fewer, closer freündes.
