What happened to Final Fantasy Versus XIII???

So I'm browsing the NA Square Enix webpage when I realize that they only have info on the FFXIII with the girl. I can't seem to find anything about Versus XIII anywhere......... Come to think of it, I haven't really heard much about Versus XIII in a while........ Is it still in production or has it been scrapped???

I'm pretty sure it's still in production.
But I'll be really hyped when this game comes out.

Personally, I don't care about the version with the chick....... I just want the one with the black haired dude. ^_^ That trailer was amazing. =]

They are finishing Final Fantasy XIII first, so they can use it as a model for the things in Versus. They aren't going to cancel Versus, they just don't have that much info out about it.

Problem 1: You were on the NA website.

Problem 2: They're focusing on promoting XIII right now. Don't expect to hear anything about Versus until late December at the earliest.

Probably won't hit the west till 2011.

Alot of people say that they're looking forward to Versus XIII more, which I don't understand, considering that we know virtually nothing about the game. Final Fantasy XIII, on the other hand, we know tons about, and it's looking to be one mother of a game. Are people looking forward to Versus XIII more just because it has a cool, "mysterious" male protagonist, and ignoring all of Final Fantasy XIII's potential because it has a strong, female protagonist?

I keep getting excited about Versus XIII and then I remember the evolution of Kingdom Hearts gameplay, the Nomura plot, and the fact that you can't get the game's true ending without playing through the game four times. Naked.

Well, it's not that I don't like a female lead....... I'm one of the only few people that I know of to actually say they like FFX-2 and actually get the urge to play it again. XD So trust me, I like the idea of bringing in a female lead. The thing is, I just don't care enough about this FF to want to go and buy it. I'm sure I'm going to give it a chance and I'll actually play and beat it somewhere down the line........ However, Versus XIII just seemed to connect more to my style than regular XIII. Versus XIII seems to be more darker than XIII. Also, I'm probably going to get both since apparently they're in the same area and world. I really want to see how that whole concept works. =] Don't get my wrong about this whole thing btw....... I think XIII is looking to be a great game with an involving storyline. I just hope it lives up to my expectations.

Versus is also...from what I hear going to be an action rpg. So thats another important detail that makes people excited for it. The fact that they haven't released more info is quite aggravating.

we wont hear anything new until FFXIII is released.

There's not alot of good action/rpgs that come out anymore, so this game will be one of my favorites.

@MidnaFan are you talking about the one with Zack Fair and Prince Noctis in it?
That's also why I wanted to get it
