Alllriiighty then! The natural poverty of the HH is coming to an end as his new job swells his bank account! As such, I am in the hopes of purchasing a Xbox 360 Elite very soon, and have thusly compiled a list of games to go along with it. It is as follows:

So there it is. Now judging from the games on this list, what would you all recommend I add to it, or possibly subtract? Please provide any comments on the games listed or on any games you think should be.

Fallout 3

If you're into that kinda stuff.

WTF? No Bioshock or Oblivion? And I would second mass effect and fallout 3.

Just because I'm curious, why the Iron Man game?

Why buy gears of war 1 when your going to buy gears of war 2??

Why didn't you add Fable 2??? That was one of my favorites. ^_^

Fallout 3 is a great one. But I'd wait till they release the version that has all the DLC with it. The game feels short to me without. Oblivion is great if you like that kind of game.

Resident evil 5 is a lot of fun. But solo it's a bit annoying. The computer is okay, but they like to shoot me in the back with their guns And don't really help much. They mostly waste ammo. But if you have another person to play with then the game is a total blast.

Ummmm, heavenly sword is a PS3 exclusive.

You should get Fallout 3, Bioshock, and from what I've been hearing, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Haven't played MF but I hear very good things about it.

And I think I've seen Fallout 3, and was not impressed. It seems like hours of mindless gathering and shifting through garbage. Like a video game based on the life of a hobo.

Because Iron Man 1, while not exactly great, was enjoyable. And I've heard that IM2 is being greatly improved upon, especially the flight mechanics.

And Bioshock looked a bit too horrific for me. Don't know what Oblivion's 'bout.

That's why I'm debating it. I'm not sure I'll have someone to play with me, and I don't really want to put up with a ♥♥♥♥ty AI partner for something that I've heard has deviated away from the RE feeling and turned more into a straight-pathed action-shooter.

I was also considering that. But all of the Tales are new and confusing to me, so I want to make sure I'm not jumping into something at the wrong point.

Oh, and you put ODST ans Halo Wars up there, but not Halo 3?

Because I've already beaten it, and don't want to buy it unless I know I'm going to be able to play it with at least three other people regularly.

I personally thought that RE5 was a waste. If you're any kind of RE fan, you will hate it.

What are you guys talking about? They're terrible on the 360. Get them for the PC instead; they're excellent on the PC, and it's the only platform worth playing them on.

Stay away from RE5; it really adds nothing new or original to the series. Someone brought up Tales of Vesperia; I'd be cautious. From my experience with the Tales series (Tales of Symphonia), it's overly cheesy garbage. The gameplay is engaging, though, I'll give it that (Unfortunately, it often devolves in to mindless button-mashing).

Also, seeing as you have Lost Odyssey on your list, remember that FFXIII is coming out for it, as well.

Prototype becomes pretty repetitive after a while, and I've heard Halo Wars was so dumbed down for consoletards that you're better off not purchasing it.

Those games were absolutely fine on the 360. Plus, this is a thread about 360 games. As 360 games, Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and Oblivion are all great. They're better on PC, but they're still good on the 360.

And plus, we have to assume that Halcyon Hero's computer can't handle such big games. If it could, he probably wouldn't even own a 360. Hell, I wouldn't own my 360 if my PC wasn't an absolute piece of ♥♥♥♥.

Not entirely true. I'm a huge fan, and have played them all multiple times. And I loved RE5.

Well If you ever get bored and want something to play, it's not overly complicated or anything.

They're still good games though. Sure play it on PC it's better, but Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and Oblivion are still great games reguardless.
