Nintendo mascots that need revival

Hey guys, wouldn't it be cool if they would revive nintendo mascots like Kid Icarus and the Balloon Fight dude? There was this ninja game that I use to love called: "Legend of Kage". It is pretty damn hard because you die after getting hit once. But I think nintendo needs more ninja games. Like maybe a revival of Kung Fu. So what mascot would you guys like to see revived?

I wouldn't mind seeing a Ninji game but I'm not too crash hot on the idea of character revival. It depends on the character though. For instance, if it was Cless out of ToP then I wouldn't mind but if it was someone that I didn't really know (random famicom games) then I don't think that its a good idea.

Kid Icarus I would also like to see, maybe Excite bike but I'm not too much of a fan of dirt bike racing games. Although excite bike was extremely fun.

I think, instead of a ninja game, it should be a samurai type game. A ninja game sounds a little kid like. A samurai game would be pretty darn cool though....

I think Wario needs a proper revival. His latest games haven't done him justice.

Most games, like Kid Icarus and Ballon Fight, are best left as one game. Old games like that should stay in there time, they were good then, most likely they would be screwed up.

Games that are in a series, though, some of those would be better to be revived as they once were. A lot of games, over time, get worse and worse as they go on. Sometimes it's better to use the original ideas the series was started with.

We need an Earthbound 2. Thats exactly what Nintendo needs right now.

Plok! God dangit! We need Plok! In a huge wave of crappy platformers, we need the return of the king of them all. Plok! Plok! destroys any other platforming game, while being the most lovable mascot-like charater in the world.

OK, I sort of got out of hand there. For those who don't know, Plok! is one of the best platformers ever, a sidescrolling platformer for the SNES. With elements heavily borrowed from Mario World, the worlds at first are easy, but get harder and longer. Plok is a real hero, whos main attack is throwing his own limbs at enemies like boomerangs. You just have to see this game.

as I said in the other mascot post SPIRO would be nice although the dragonfly one was for GC. I still would like to see it made anew! also a new kind of oldskool kirby game! maybe in 3D like the megaman series redid! I didn't like air ride that much...

I do believe it's time for another kirby game, I miss those games.
