Flying games. I love flying games. I used to spend hours on Birdman Mode on Pilotwings, hours on Combat Flight Simulator, and every time I go to the arcade, I have to play this flying game. And other games that have flying aspects to them, I love them too. Turok: Evolution saw me replaying a lot of levels where you're flying the Quetzalcoatlus.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures

A couple more things I've thought of...

The Lego [insert franchise here] games. I've played both Star Wars ones for GC, and I have the Indy one on my PC. Haven't played the Batman one yet, but I'm eyeing it. They aren't spectacular games, but I usually play them co-op with someone who isn't that great at games, which is what they're perfect for. It also helps that the cutscenes are all pretty funny spoofs of their respective movies.

I'm also a sucker for spin-offs. For the DS, I bought the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game, mostly because of the Piplup on the front. It...wasn't too bad; I think it makes a good rogue-like for beginners and the non-hardcore. I also purchased the new Prince of Persia spin-off for the DS. That wasn't too bad either, like Phantom Hourglass, it actually had some fun, if flawed, all touch screen controls.

Shadow the Hedgehog on the Gamecube. I know it's a terrible game, I know virtually every Sonic fan out there considers it to be complete garbage, but I enjoy playing it.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures

Yeah, Shadow the Hedgehog was one of those love/hate games for me. I actually liked it pretty well for the short while that I owned it… But now I think of it as a terrible, terrible game.

It's old, though, from the year 2000, and isn't an action game like the modern ones. You just build stuff. That's all.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures

I have the first three Harry Potter computer games. They are not bad actually. In the first game, some of the Quidditch matches are difficult, so I only got a little past the battle with the troll. The second game is easier than the other two, but it is more fun. And in the third, the final exams are incredibly difficult.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures

Lol those Harry Potter games, I had the first one, and I think I masterized Quidditch (I would probably suck now anyway.)

Remember catching the ball like in 5 seconds almost always...

Oh..... I enjoyed Soul Calibur Legends...... A LOT... Even though it doesn't matter from wich point I see it (excluding the story and the nice VA.) it seems to suck, inmensely repetitive, bad graphics, the fact that all attacks are about the same... 80% of bosses being dragons... Still, enjoyed that game a lot... don't know why.

MUGEN. Man when you got your favorite childhood cartoon, comics, and video game characters fighting one another, you tend to forget how bad of an idea MUGEN can be.

Crazy Taxi is a guilty pleasure of mine aswell. I sometimes take it out and play it. Most of the time I just find myself driving/crashing into everything and anything

Pokemon Snap was a guilty pleasure of mine. I would likewise take it out and start a new game and finish it in 1 sitting, well maybe a few. Well finish it as in getting the picture of Mew and thats about it. My N64 crapped out so I don't get to play it as often. Though I could download the rom...
