Although it has been a long time I used to be a heavy Runescape player with a couple of my real life friends.. I don't really regret it, we had some massively good times. Don't start yelling at me for what a bad game it is though; I'm well aware. :[

I have a few guilty pleasures. I enjoy games like Digimon World, Digimon World 3, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Pokemon Channel.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures
I tried, and failed, to get two or three of every pokemon ( except for Legendaries, one of each there... ) into "My Pokemon Ranch" ...which is essentially a TV Screensaver for babies. ( Also I don't count the pokemon Hayley gives me as Pokemon that I put in the ranch. )
I had at least 10 or so of certain pokemon I like, such as the starters, Zubat, Gligar, and some others. I also must have poured one million hours into the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Chao Garden. ...I just love digital/artificual pets so much, and Chao Garden is the best form of it. My Pokemon Ranch is the biggest missed opportunity for it... Man when I was a kid, I must have had like... 7 tamagotchis and 5 Digimon, 2 pocket pikachus, and a few other mimickers... but never at the same time. I always lost one before replacing it. I did have 2 Tamagotchis at the same time though, once. Those are basically handheld games right? So I can count those as guilty gaming pleasures.... For the record, I'd never touch Nintendogs or any of those DS pet simulation games.

As for my own, hmm... --I still enjoy just ****ing around in 3-d Mario games. They're some of the few games with controls so fun and perfect you could have a ball just jumping around the game's various worlds doing nothing in particular. This was especially fun in SM64, when it was revolutionary. I suppose that's not really a "guilty" pleasure, just not one many people my age would do. --Pokemon. --Sometimes nostalgia will drive me to do stupid things just for a trip down memory lane. I thought about buying the Wii port of Pajama Sam for that sole purpose. --Music from or based on games makes up more of my library than anything else.

But for me.... I'm not really ashamed of any games I like, but as far as games which most people think are terrible... Maybe Chameleon Twist 2. I really loved that game. Getting a huge amount of enemies in your mouth and shooting them off like a machine gun felt so gratifying- and yes, I do realize how dirty that sounds.

For me, there's Thrillville: Off the Rails. Despite the title, it has nothing to do with Big Rigs. The game is a minigame collection/ride film/date sim, where you play as a park owner.
The graphics are terrible, but the pre-rendered cutscenes are really, really good, showing that they put a lot of work into this.

Megaman Legends is widely considered a terrible game in the franchise, but I personally felt that it was really innovative for its time. Still one of my favorite 64 games just because of the boss fights and funny cut-scenes.

Re: Guilty Gaming Pleasures
Well, bad choice of words for me. Megaman 64, the N64 port of Legends is considered a bad game because it did nothing to improve the original at all and had more finicky controls.

Speaking of Mega Man, the Battle Network and Star Force series are my guilty pleasure. Yeah, my inner gaming critic keeps telling me that Capcom is releasing the same game with a new coat of paint, and I tell myself each year that I won't buy the next one...
But as soon as I see the cover art and a few trailers, I'm like and end up making the purchase. (Note: I look nothing like that)
