Gaming's Trippiest Moments.

Meat Circus level in Psychonauts was pretty crazy.

Aside from FEAR 2 being a pretty mediocre game the ending was truly bizarre.

Yeah, your list probably could change if you stopped to think about what exactly you're playing. You're playing a game based on a plumber. In outer space. A plumber in outer space. Your enemy is a turtle who hired a space orchestra to play him a pretty badass battle theme (and that's not even his final battle theme, so I didn't really spoil anything).

Now that I think about it, any good game with "Mario" in the title is pretty trippy.

- The transformation mask scenes in Majora's Mask
- The final boss battle in Majora's Mask
- Playing the Song of Storms to Sharp in Majora's Mask
- Wearing a Mask to make corpses dance in Majora's Mask
- Heck, the entirety of Majora's Mask, really
- The Twilight world of Twilight Princess, with those weird Twili standing around groaning
- The Hazy Maze Cave in Super Mario 64
- Actually, most Mario games (you're a plumber in overalls who goes around stomping Goombas and eating mushrooms)
- Going inside the Water Dragon in Okami (spoilers in case anyone hasn't got this far and wants to play the game)

I was going to say the bit where you're first turned into the deku dude at the beggining of Majora's. That was pretty trippy. Dancing shrubs, bright colours everywhere.

That entire game was very weird, really.

orpheus'/izanagi's awakening in persona 3/4.

I know it's been said, but it needs saying again. The entirety of Mother 3.

I mean, it has a vague grasp on reality for the first three chapters, maybe, and then the psychadelicness invades everything.

Oh god, I second that one. That whole game was pretty messed up.. couldn't stop playing it because of that either. xDD;

What I hated in ED:SR was the fake blue screen of death. It took me so long to realise it was fake.

The opening logo for spore is really, really wierd. Also, whenever you put on or take of a mask in MM, it's totally f'd up.

The part at the end where the Prince goes inside his own mind and has to navigate that trippy pseudoworld while getting flash backs of his past, while being taunted by his dark self.

I think that classifies as 'trippy'.

Terra and Memoria in FF IX were kind of trippy for me.

Um... Bioshock in general...

*Edit* Also, finding old Hyrule in WW was pretty messed up.

Touch fuzzy Get Dizzy, and the little warp sequence in the Asteroid field in Star fox 64.

Rayman 3, the stage you get after you went to one of the doctors was pretty trippy

Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy from Yoshi's Island, and when you go through a Gate in Chrono Trigger. That's some trippy s**t right there.
