It's disgusting. The original poster said 'White is coming', and was an ad for the PSP.

It was for SNES, but was also re-released for the PS1 and the GBA. Its kind of like Chrono Trigger in that it is turn-based and uses the Active Time Battle System.

Isn't Chrono Trigger turn based? And what is tha Active Time Battle System?

PS2 FFX End cut scene made me cry

Active Time Battle System makes your character attack in real time. You still have to input commands, but enemies will attack when you are inputting them.

Those like myself know her as Aeris. It wasnt until much later that they stopped calling her Aeris and renamed her officially Aerith. I think that began with Advent Children. Her official japanese name was Aerith to begin with.

This is misleading.

Her Japanese name can be localized either as "Aerith" or "Aeris", the sound is exactly the same in Japanese. So the question is what S-E officially translates it as, and they can't seem to make up their mind, though "Aerith" seems to be the standard for now.

I saw her as Aeris first, therefore I call her Aeris. I don't call Terra and Sabin Tina and Mash because those are their original names. I call them that because that's what I knew them as first.

Oh, alright. It's like Moblin and Molbin, etc.

Screwy localization sometimes helps with the naming of characters. Aeris is a much more pleasant name.
