So, discuss Pokemon here. What games are you looking forward to? What's your team? Have you ever woken up next to a Gardevoir? Etc. It would be difficult not to mention general Pokemon media in this thread in passing, but try to keep in-depth discussions of the anime, TCG, and others such things in the Entertainment boards. This is General Gaming, so this thread is mostly about the games.

This is also the place to share your Wi-fi information for Di/Pe/Pl. You can make trading requests, exchange friend codes, and organize trades and other events here.

Just smoked Byron with a Magcargo. His Bastiodon was still more trouble than it's worth. :<

Piplup's alright, but it gets smoked by Squirtle, castrated by Charmander, blasted by Bulbasaur, crushed by Chikorita, topped by Totodile, crucified by Cyndaquil, mauled by Mudkip, torn by Torchic, and trounced by Treecko.

It is, however, miles better than Chimchar.

I've finally gotten back to reading the manga, since I stopped reading as much after GSC arc ended. Christ that arc was awesome.

Chimchar was such a stupid starter. That thing is just ugly as sin.

I have a Piplup plushie on my desk. You press his little flipper and he says "Piplup!". Piplup makes my heart melt. <3

I actually bought the Mystery Dungeon game just because there was a Piplup on the front. It's not a bad game, either, just don't expect it to be a lot like the main games.

I must admit that sounds like an awesome plushie.

If they made one of Cyndaquil I would buy it immediately.

Toys R' Us. I think I left the cashier somewhat bewildered.

This reminds me, I still need to finish Pearl. I think my current party is...Prinplup, Shinx (Is that the name? Except it's the final evolution), Cricktune, and Misdreavus. Oh, and I have a Hoothoot and Birabel as HM slaves.

I don't know why I haven't played it in so long. Pearl just got me bored so quick; it was like playing a game like I'd already played too many times before, which is worse when you realize the last Pokemon game I played was BLUE, years ago.

Oh, and:

Figures. Not a Toys R' Us in sight in Wyoming. :<

Also, Luxray is an awful electric type. Do yourself a favor, and get ahold of an Electivire somehow.

Cyndaquil is the best starter EVUR!!

Luxray is a terrible Electric type. Awful speed, mediocre other stats, and abysmal movepool.

You're much better off with an Electivire, or hell, even a Raichu.

And next time I ever go to Toys R Us I'm getting me a Cyndaquil.

Silver I ninja'd your ass with both the bashing of Luxray, and reccomendation of Electivire.
