For reference, the first game had 9 boss fights, and 1 extra hidden boss fight. (totaling 10)
The one thing I want from NMH2 is WiiMotion Plus support. Now, I
dont want the entire game to be 1:1 sword play, as the setup they had for the last game was great, but motion plus could be used to increase the accuracy of the finishing hit (It seemed like you'd always hit no matter what direction you swung in.) As well as mini-games, a few assassination missions where you have 1:1, (Not ranked battles, the ones where it'd be like "Kill X amount of people in 30 seconds!") and a handful of ranked battles (maybe 10 to 20 out of the 50) in which something occurs and you have 1:1 control for the boss battle. You could even have some bosses that are broken up into a normal section and a 1:1 section.
Also, on the 1:1 assassination missions the enemies totally need to become rag dolls which react accurately to the direction and speed in which I strike, when they die. :3
EDIT: Just so everyone knows, the 50 bosses thing isn't really confirmed. We know there will be 50 ranks, however, we don't know if every rank will have a rank battle. Travis might skip some ranks. We also might get MORE than 50 bosses, as we can count on a couple of fights that aren't ranked battles, like the extra fight in NMH.
