Wii, 360, PS3 or PC? (Revival)

I am reviving this thread for 2 reasons:
1. The last one was locked for some reason.
2. The old thread had options so you could choose combinations, or all 4. I don't like that because you won't find a definite answer if you are trying to get an idea to get. This one, there are only 4 choices. The systems, no combos. It'll really prove which is more popular/best.

Oh yeah, I'm sure this is going to generate loads of great discussion and so not solely consist of Nintendo-bashing and Nintendo-fan-bashing and non-Miscrosoft-and-Sony-bashing.

Ain't there a thread like this stickied at the top of this board?

I don't think u can say that Wii has the best hardware around there (at least compared to 360 and PS3), and it has a poor internet specifics. The thing is that it's visuals and controls have much more potential than the competition .

I prefer the PC due to the widest selection of games, superior visuals, superior input devices, much better community support and involvement, and customisation options that are limited only by the bleeding edge. However, I do like the Wii for its exclusives, particularly Nintendo-developed games.

I agree with this guy.

these threads are pointless. It's just a bunch of fan boys arguing over which console is better. it's like boys in the locker room arguing over whos shlong is bigger. No one wins! it's just a waste of breathe. most people's opinions will not change no matter what you say, so you should give up, myself included.

I like the Wii for Nintendo games and some third-party games.
I like the PS3 and 360 for other non-Nintendo games.

Actually the one with the longest shlong would win there, and he probably prefers the PC above the other consoles.

Having the PC as an option is kind of unfair, it's like comparing an olympic athlete with three lepers.

I have a macbook, which instantly cuts me off from PC gaming. Thus I have a 360 I am quite happy with. I like it's online and it's doing some cool stuff lately, with the Netflix thing and the 1 vs. 100. Though when I do get a job I'd definitely like a gaming PC. A nice PC can crank out some of the most beautiful graphics I've ever seen.

A few titles interest me on PS3, but not enough to purchase it. The Wii in my household gathers dust.

I play my Wii most generally. My Xbox has broken 3 times now! And I can't think of 1 PS3 game I actually want, so that's a no as well.

I couldn't decide about PC, I just got a new one so I've been playing games on it a lot more.

Just depends on what games appeal to you really, everyone likes different stuff.

My 360 gets the most game time at the moment. My PS3 collects dust, but does see some action occasionally.

Don't have a Wii, but nothing would really appeal to me too much, and uh, I'd PC game a lot more if my PC had more power. But that needs money :(

Have you tried bootcamp and SuperGamer?

A PC is a perfectly legitimate gaming platform. That's enough to consider it a console.

It just so happens to do a lot more than play video games.
