Homebrewers Do What Nintendon't: DSi Exploit Found

From here.

Hopefully what this will mean is custom firmware on the DSi without having to buy a flash cart. Virtual Console, anyone? GBA support? (Since the hardware is still inside it.)

Right, so this was because Forte says he doesn't like himself. I want him to like himself a bit more.

The DS and DS Lite were unable to play GBA roms from a flashcart because of RAM issues. The only way to play them was a ram expansion in the GBA slot. With the additional RAM on the DSi, do you think this will take care of the issue?

I would think so. If nothing else, you should be able to play NES rom, Snes rom, Genesis rom, and DS rom without a special cart, just a normal SD card.

Custom DSi firmware? It's more likely than you think!

This is awesome.
