Re: My DSi reads games, but it tells me to eject and retry?

Ok so I was playing Pokemon Platnium and in the middle of the game it froze and i got a solid color on both screens. I restart the system and open the game. It says "the data could not be read. Please turn off the power, then remove and reinsert the DS Game Card". I do that and its the same thing. I know it reads the game because the message is in a Pokemon-like menu. I try the same thing w/ New Super Mario Bros. and the nintendo logo pops up, but then it says "Saved data could not be read". I have no idea whats wrong. Please help! All apps work fine but this!

I really need help! I dont want to have to call nintendo!

Can you try reading the cards on another DS?

If it gives you an error code, the nintendo website is actually extremely helpful, if you do have the code, since it can pinpoint the problem. If not, I'd still suggest searching there, as it can give some good advice.

Now Pokemon Platnium works, but New Super Mario still says "cannot read saved data". it's not an error message. I think i need to clean the pins on the game card.
