Battlefield Heroes is surprisingly... fun

I tried Battlefield Heroes yesterday, and was quite surprised at how well this "free" game turned out to be. It's fun, light-hearted, goofy, charming, and it makes me chuckle occasionally. The gameplay is reminiscent of past Battlefield games, but Heroes takes the old formula and makes it more accessible. And visually, it looks a lot like Wind Waker.

The specs are really low, so chances are, you can run it. It runs well on my two year-old laptop.

Give it a try, you may end up liking it.

watered-down Battlefield + microtransactions + ugly art style (+ lack of Wake Island) = ew nothx, even if it is free

1943, on the other hand, seems decent.

I haven't played it, but it looks beautiful.

That said, microtransactions are disgusting.

I'll probably try Heroes later today, and 1943 when its out for PC.

A lot of people, including myself are having problems finding matches. I've been trying for a couple of days, but I still can't connect to a server.
