Years and years ago I did some researching for the hell of it (mainly because I had nothing to do) and I decided to make a list of all the game consoles ever created. It was hard. It took me some time yet I'm still uncertain If I found all of them. Some on my list I'm still uncertain about. The rules I used to make the list is the following
Rules for the Game Consoles: 1. Must have been released 2. Must have played cartrides of discs. Had to play different games in which you can put into the machne. 3. Must have been released in the US (uncertain about this rule) 4. Can't be a computer game console Alright let the list begin: Magnovox Odyssey Magnovox Odyssey 2 Magnovox Odyssey 3 Magnovox Odyssey 4 Intellivision Intellivision II Intellivision III Mattel Aquarius PC-50X Pong Madness ** RCA studio II APF -M1000 APF- MP1000 Channel F Channel F System 2 Telstar Arcade Emerson Arcadia 2001 Interton VC4000 Creativision Microvision Adventurevision Watara Supervision Colecovision Coleco Adam Atari 2600 Atari 2600 junior Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Atari 8- Bit Atari VCS Atari Pong ** Atari Lynx Atari Lynx II Atari Jaguar Atari Jaguar CD Super Grafx Turbo Grafx Turbo Grafx 16 Turbo Express Vectrex Color Vectrex Core Grax I Core Grafx II Ballys Astrocade Sega master system Sega Master sysem II Sega CDx Sega Mega Drive Sega Mega Drive II Sega Saturn Sega Genesis Sega Genesis 2 Sega Genesis 3 Sega Dreamcast Sega Dreamcast VMS (or VMU) ? Sega Game Gear Comodore CDTV Comodore Amiga CD32 Bandai @world (aka: Pippin) ? SNK Neo-Geo AES (Advanced Entertainment System)+ SNK Neo Geo pocket color SNK Neo Geo CD Sega Nomad Philps CD- i Sega/JVC x'Eye * Nintendo (NES) Nintendo (NES) Top Loader Super Nintendo Super Nintendo Redesign Nintendo 64 Nintendo Gamecube Game Boy Game boy pocket Game Boy Color Game Boy advance Game Boy Advance SP Nintendo Game & Watch ? Pioneer LaserActive Playstation (PS-X) PSone PS2 PSP 3DO N-Gage Game.com Nintendo Virtual Boy FM Towns Marty PC Xbox Xbox 360 N-Gage QD Atari Flashback + Atari Flashback 2 + Nintendo DS Tapwave's Zodiac ? PS2 Redesign Gizmondo Game Boy Micro Nintendo DS Lite Nintendo DSi+ Gizmondo widescreen ? (supposely coming soon) PS3 XaviXPORT Nintendo Wii PSP Slim and Lite (2000 series) + PSP-3000 + ? Upgrades: Sega CD Turbo CD Sega 32x Sega CD II Sega 32xCD (A combination of the 32x ungrade and the CD upgrade) Game Boy Player (plays GB and GBA games on GC) E-reader (for GBA) Note: - + means recently added - ? means questionable - this list isn't in order of their release *though it is a system it is a combination of Sega CD and Sega Genesis. ** Even though is refered to a video game console only takes one cartridge. There's been hundreds of stupid Pong systems but these are considered the main ones. Please feel free to leave an comments or amend the list at our desire. Also there are a couple of systems I'm unsure about (as seen in ?'s) and if someone can confirm those I would appreciate it. Here's a site I found that's a timeline of video games for the late 70's to the late 80's. http://www.islandnet.com/~kpolsson/vidgame/vid1981.htm

Re: Comprehensive list of Video Game Consoles
And also, the old pong system should be included, so i don't like the "Had to play different games in which you can put into the machne." rule.

Re: Comprehensive list of Video Game Consoles
And I didn't like the "Must be U.S. release" or the "Can't be a computer console" rules.

Re: Comprehensive list of Video Game Consoles
I'm all for a little video game history, but I don't see much discussion value here either. It looks like you pretty much have it covered as it is.
