Age of ______

Age of Empires 2 is probably my favorite PC game ever. I am very well-versed in the game's theory and I've always wanted to release my own expansion pack (since I am a history nerd).

I liked Age of Empires, but it wasn't that great. I played it second, so that might be why.

Age of Mythology was also pretty good, but I didn't play that enough.

And I have, sadly, not played Age of Empires III. But I will at some point.

Opinions on the series?

I loved Age of Empires II: Age of Kings. My first AoE ever, couldn't have hoped for anything better to introduce me to the series. I played Age of Empires III too, but in my opinion it fell short of expectations (but that may just be me being unreasonable).

Ooh, I love the Age of adksfgth3ai series!
I was introduced to it through a trial version of AoE: Rise of Rome that came with an old computer of mine. I remember it only included 3 scenarios, and I had the hardest time figuring out what to do. Probably took me a month to learn how to play on my own.

Anyways, that's what made me want to get AoE II/AoEII: The Conquerors, AoM/AoM: the Titans, and AoE III/AoE III: The War Chiefs.

I just quit playing AoE 3 (like five minutes a go). I have all the games in the series except the expansion for Age of Mythology.

Age of Empires II is the ****. I've been playing it again recently with some friends.

AoE III was beautiful but didn't play as well.

I started with AoE and it was awesome. Awesome game... then I played AoEII and it was awesome. I got sort of bored with AoEII though, now I'm a bit bored with both. And now I don't think I even have AoEII anymore...Actually I don't...

I really wanted AoE3 to just be graphical and mechanical update to AoE2, which I think was brilliant. There was a few dominant strategy issues (I think), but overall it was really balanced, and great fun with 4 or 5 friends.

AoE3 is really fun. Me and my friends have a guild set up and we play from time to time. They did it really well. AOE2 is still my favorite, mainly because you have to do more. In AOE3 it's pretty easy getting food and supplies.
