Are you ****ing kidding me??? I got the Japanese version. I am so ****ing pissed. We Americans don't deserve it unless we pay extra for the Japanese version like I did.

Holy crap, now I can beat up random anime characters I've never heard of with Viewtiful Joe!
Seriously, though, I'm quite surprised. I've never heard of any of the Tatsunoko characters or what they're from, so I didn't really think they were well-known around here.
But the fact that Joe is in this rocks my socks.

This is good news. The less Japan-only games, the better. And it might be a good opportunity for Tatsunoko to expose American gamers to their shows.

Tatsunoko is an anime production company. The only anime they've made that I'm familiar with is Karas, I have the complete collection. He's a character. People *****ed when the game came out saying he was overpowered, he wasn't.

Also, why does Capcom feel the need to stick MegaMan Volnutt in everything? (I think Legends/Dash might be more popular in Japan?)

Speak for yourself Megaman Volnutt is awesome including Megaman Legends/Dash series (I still play it today). MMMkay!?

EDIT: also if you want a recent example of tatsunoko anime the new Casshern Sins is really well done.

Ha, wow this is a interesting surprise. It was probably capcom's idea mainly and tatsunoko just agreed to it.

People thought Speed Racer was gonna be in it, dunno why he wasn't. NGE isn't tatsunoko, they helped with the animation, that's all.

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.....Rock Vulnutt is one of the best Megamen if I'm concerned. And I think I deserve some seniority when it comes to that series. It's been one of my, if not, my favorite game series of all time since I played X as a wee child.

EDIT: Also, he's a really good character. A little odd, and it takes some time to get used to him, but he's really good. My team, back when I played it was Karas and Rock Vulnutt. Then, at the very end, before I stopped playing it, my team became Ryu and Ken the Eagle. I think you guys will have fun with the Tatsunoko characters.

Fair enough, but I personally thought Legends sucked nuts, and didn't like MegaMan's design.
And Volnutt's been in tons of Capcom crossover crap, which I find odd, considering they're known for Classic MegaMan and X most of all, not this one. It'd be like them putting in .EXE in everything--oh wait, he was in Onimusha Blade Warriors. **** me. (Actually, I like .EXE.)

Also, I suppose someone named "Forte" would be a big Mega fan, wouldn't they?

I'unno, I guess Rock Vulnutt's look is more suited for all these games that he's featured in. I can't complain. Megaman is Megaman for me.

Haha, yeah, love me some Bass. Particularly .EXE Bass.
