Every. One.

It's not like they're going to give you some Electabuzz and Dratini at the start of the game. They're Pokemon that start out OK but can become powerful later on, which is why you get them. I just wish that we could have a change in starters like in Yellow. I'd like to have a Ralts like Wally or maybe a Magnemite.

But why are they always there at the beginning of every game.
You would think they could use some different ones or some new ones.

I'm not surprised. They're like the only common Pokemon of their kind. There's no other bat Pokemon or literal rock Pokemon in existence to come that early. And without those, caves would feel rather empty because the other Pokemon you find there are supposed to be rarer.

I just wish that they would make new Pokemon families instead of making every Pokemon without an evolution get one. I mean, they should build upon some existing families but not all of them (I want a Tentacruel evo called Tentakren or something like that). For example, if they make like 2 new families for each type then I would be happy.

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want a narwhal or goblin shark Pokemon. :3

Don't people complain there's already too many Pokemon though?

I guess that wouldn't matter seeing as we no longer have to catch them all in order to complete the game, but meh. xP

You never had too. You could complete every game without catching everything. Just not 100%

I'm about to go play Emerald. I haven't paid enough attention to my team there. xP

But I just said, there are always going to be. It's like me saying "Smoking is bad", and then you say "The Native Americans used to smoke". Sure, they are related, but we're not really talking about the same thing. :/

Whether or not Geodude and Zubat are getting stale =/= Whether or not people think there are too many pokemon

Anyway, back on topic. Since I haven't paid much attention to Emerald, I'm at the beginning and training a Marill to take on Roxanne.

So far, I've gotten back from the future in PMD2, and now trying to get the Time Gears.

Team:

Cyndaquil (name Amy) Lv 32?? [Attacks: Ember + Tackle, LavaPlume, Quick Attack]
Pikachu (name Sparky) Lv 33?? [Attack: Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack]
Grovyle Lv 46 [Leaf Blade, Quick Attack, Absorb, Dig].

My Emerald team is Torchic, Poochyena, Dustox, Marill, and Taillow. Don't have a sixth yet.

My Red team is Flareon, Exeggutor, Nidoqueen, Zapdos, Hitmonchan, and Blastoise. I might go to the Elite four with these guys even though most of them are around level 45.

Also, I've given up catching a Munchlax. After two weeks, it's time to throw in the towel.

^Aw, don't give up. I never gave up on trying to get Feebas and I tried for three days straight almost.
