Randomly random thought: For next Gen have two games, but focus on one main legend (like with Red and Blue) and have all the other legends be the "roaming" Pokemon. IMO, it would be incredibly memorable to be walking along, then suddenly, the most random bad-ass Pokemon comes out of nowhere and slaughters your team (kind of like with GSC but they attack and kill you). But limit it to like, a total of four or six new legends because the current amount is ridonkulous.

They're making new legends? D: There's way too many right now, how does making another hundred improve the game?

IMO, they need new ones because there are 500+ ways to get the current ones. And I said limit it to four or six, RBY and GSC did this right (stupid RSE ruining Pokemon).

The status of legendary is slowly becoming "oh powerful". Lol how many legendaries do you people want?

I stopped caring about legendaries after GSC.

Not really. In Gens I and II they weren't important to the story at all (Aside from Suicune in Crystal, and even then, it's still minor).

Also, why legendaries like Heatran, Rotom, etc. that don't matter and no one cares about?

I didn't even know about Heatran until like, 3 months after I beat Diamond.

Honestly, what's the point of it?

I thought Rotom was just a one-only pokemon. He's not grouped with the legends in the Pokedex.

Though I do like Heatran's traits as a battler, he's not really a legend. Some of the newer legends should just be labeled as rare pokemon, because they aren't at the same caliber as most legends.

R/S/E: Scratch out the Regis and we're good. I didn't mind them being part of the story.

I have always been of the opinion that quite a few legendaries should be made simply very rare Pokemon, who can breed like every other. If I was to downgrade legendaries, it would be Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, as we know from Snap, a canon game which can interact with the rest of the series, that they are breedable, Latios and Latias, which have genders anyway, and aren't part of any particular legends outside of the fact they are rare and powerful, and Heatran, who again, has a gender, and again, is only involved in the vaguest of tales that simply says "he's a legend".

In Platinum they fixed that making Charon/Pluto go after Heatran to make money.

The only Pokemon I don't consider legendaries:

Phinone, and Rotom, since Rotom is weak, and Phinone can reproduce. Granted, Manaphy can reproduce, but not itself, so it's still Legendary.

So Puck got his Suicune, and looked at my cheat pokemon party.
