Cyndiquil. Same one I picked almost a decade ago.

Cyndaquil for me too. I always choose the fire ones.

It'll be Chikorita for me.
I always alternate between water and grass (Squirtle -> Chikorita -> Mudkip -> Turtwig) for starters-- I'm not a big fan of fire Pokemon. Especially for starters.

Me too.

I've always used fire types. Silver and Gold are no exceptions.

Hmm. considering it's the only starter I didn't get from a friend I might pick Totodile.

I would choose Totodile and Cyndaquil if i buy the two games but if i only buy i choose totodile sometimes i don´t like few starters i never choose a grass starter pokemon i hate the grass pokemon anyway

Trade and restart till I get all three.

I went through Platinum with all three Jhoto starters, and that means I already have Typhlosion, Meganium and Feraligatr at high levels. I think I'm gonna go through SS without a starter.

Cyndaquil was G/S/C's best starter, but playing through with a Chikorita was far more fun. The grass-type starters tend to lack versatility, but they're getting better and more useable, and I quite liked the Treecko line.

I'm going to get all of them by restarting the game and send them to Diamond so I have all three in Diamond and all 3 in HG.

treeko was epic in sapphire, he beat the kyogre i was going to catch in one hit, even i didn't expect that.

Yeah, Sceptile was actually pretty powerful. Leaf Blade KOd a lot of things.

Swampert was still R/S/E's best, though.
