I've been stalking the thread for a while. Thanks guys for inadvertently giving me advice and making me what to get HG/SS more.

I'm about halfway done with LeafGreen and will move onto Emerald. I'm doing a few trades and breeding in Platinum.

Why wouldn't they include Kanto in a G/S/C remake? ...

Er, long ago it was confirmed that Kanto was in it.
We didn't see any images of it, but it was said that Kanto was indeed in it.
So we knew it for a while.

If two Pokemon "show interest" in each other, does that mean they will definetly produce an egg or am I wasting my time?

Also when's the best level to evovle a Gloom? I have a leaf stone and nothing else to use it on...also how does the Hidden Power TM work? (In Pokemon Crystal - what type of Hidden Power do you get?)

I'm not sure about Hidden Power (I personally would never use it), but Gloom (in Crystal) learns Acid at level 24, Moonlight at level 35 (I... I don't recognize this attack name. O_o), and Petal Dance at level 44. You can pick from there.

Hidden Power is a really strange move. You don't get a certain type of it, it all depends on the Pokemon that has the move. I can't really explain it, but here are some good articles on Serebii and Smogon.

Ugh. Hence why I never use it. In normal play, the move is far too random.
