Ha. Serves her right. Don't complain something was hard if the solution was right in front of you (and obvious) anyway.

I still find it hard to believe the she has this much trouble with the gyms considering i've never had any major trouble with any trainer in pokemon ('cept for maybe rival in FR/LG)

The Gyms are no problem if you actually know what you're doing, and don't just specialize in one type. *cough*fire team*cough*

Gym leaders are themed, Ranil. Use that to your advantage. :<

You just reminded me of something. Back in grade 6 - way back before even G/S were released - I was considered the go-to person for anything Pokemon-related. So much so in fact, that I once counted how many NPCs there were in Red/Blue. In my head.

(For the curious, it's just over 300, counting repeat appearances such as your rival & Giovanni each only once, and not counting non-random wild Pokemon at all. I got it wrong by three less than the correct number when I went back later to check. I don't remember the exact number any more.)

I'm still plodding along at the third gym in Emerald...

I can't beat Wattson. Not when he has a damned Manetric. Even then I only barely managed to take down Magneton. That Shockwave is just too powerful. Someone tell me where I can find a ground type Pokemon and train it up. It seems like this is the only choice I can go with.

Oh, and I don't want Geodude (BECAUSE I DONT LIKE HOW HE LOOKS LOL IM RANIL.)

I used to have loads of trouble with Brock in Yellow, since I didn't know Butterfree could learn Confusion. I only won due to dumb luck.

...But I was seven. Ranil doesn't have that excuse (Amazingly).

Also, Raichu > Luxray.

I hate to say it, but Electivire is a goddamned beast.

My Electivire knows Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Cross Chop, plus I can breek Elekids who know the same moves.

Yeah, he's awesome.

Ahaha the Elite 4 was so easy to beat. Just steamrolled all of them with just a Charizard and Dragonite.

I'd just normally just use my starter which is normally a fire type and kill everyone with it and i never had a problem. Now a days a use a balanced team.

I used to raise Pikachu up to like level twenty just so that quick attack would eventually be able to kill Onix. Not the best strategy, but it did make Misty extremely easy.

Hah, nice. I would just train up Nidoran until it learnt Double Kick. (Until I learnt about the Butterfree thing of course)
