To be fair though, they do kind of look like crosses between bull dogs and big cats (well, Entei and Raikou do anyway - not really sure quite what Suicune resembles - a cheetah, maybe, or a greyhound?).

I guess a lot of the confusion derives from Entei's description, which in Generation II reads:

Volcanoes erupt when it barks. Unable to restrain its extreme power, it races headlong around the land.

(I think "bark" is used in Raikou's description in FireRed also). Interestingly enough though, Entei's description was changed so that "barks" became "roars" in Generation IV - apparently that's something to do with the word "roar" being the same as "bark" in Japanese.

It really is just up to interpretation, however - I mean, they're Pokemon, seriously, they're just a mish-mash of different creatures.

I still don't think any of them look like lions, though Raikou does have tiger-like stripes. Luxray is the only Pokemon that is purely a lion and not a mix of anything else. Therefore, I call him the lion king of Pokemon.

Nope, I saved it as a PNG. And I don't think the quality looks bad enough not to use it.

Well it doesn't matter what you save it as if the original image you saved was JPEG. I guess you can't notice if you look at a glance.

It looks like Super Luxray Galaxy.

Then you'd saved it as a JPEG before saving it as a PNG, because the quality dip is noticeable.

I didn't save it as a JPG, it was probably like that when I found it on the internet. It's out of a Luxray card.

You should just change your username to Luxray.

I was going to change it to something FE related since that series is my favorite.
