And I thought the PoR graphics were beautiful in the cutscenes, but could use improvement in gameplay. So I agree, they weren't the best, but were not bad. RD had the most beautiful graphics I've seen on the Wii yet. Totally realistic and awesome-looking.

Also, if you like rivalries, check out Oscar and Kieran as well as Ike and Boyd. Those guys share rivalries. XD Though, Oscar and Kieran is really one sided for the most part, which makes it hilarious. Boyd and Ike are simply of similar age and skill and it's somewhat less obvious.

Are we talking in general, or in terms of usefulness? 'Cause Florina kicks more posterior than either of them in terms of fighting. But I agree, Joshua was pretty awesome. I also like Myrmidons in general.

Never played Okami or Prime 3. I like RD's graphics better than SMG's. It's my opinion and if you don't like it, tough luck.

I think you're the one who needs a psychiatrist. You need to learn to accept opinions that disagree with yours.

Look, opinions in terms of artistic style are one thing (cartoony vs. more realistic), but it's a FACT that RD is NOT as technologically impressive as Galaxy.

I'm the last one to care or start arguing about what has better graphics, but really, now... This is beyond ridiculous. It's like saying that Final Fantasy VII looked better than FF IX.
I don't care that the visuals aren't all that great in PoR and RD, since it's not what's most important. But there is just no argument that it is not one of the more impressive-looking titles of the Wii.

I may be wonky myself, but at least my opinions aren't affected by my addled brains.

Impressive looking all you want, you don't have to like it. She likes the RD graphics better because it's her own opinion, and perhaps it just caters to her eyes moreso than the likes of Galaxy, or other titles that are more "impressive".

It's not about whether a game looks better, just that she likes one more than the other, which is perfectly understandable.

In both RD AND PoR. In PoR, Boyd was my top damage-dealer for a long time until Ike got Ragnell and stuff. In RD, he still dealt more damage than a lot of units I had. Boyd's a beast, at least he always is for me.

She likes it better because she's incredibly biased towards those games. I haven't really played either but just looking at screen shots SMG looks amazing and FE for the most part looks pretty lackluster. Sure you don't have to like it, but you can't really deny that one looks better then the other. Thats all I can really say, its pure bias and nothing else. From a purely objective standpoint RD is definitely the weaker game graphically.

RD's graphics were ok (i dont give that much of a snot about graphics for anything to be honest) but they certainly arent the best ever seen on the Wii, my dear.

I am not. For your information, I thought SMG had the best graphics I've seen on the Wii until I played RD. I loved the way the game's graphics looked right from the beginning, not because I love the game.

Btw, peeps, I started Shadow Dragon today cuz it was a birthday present. So far it's quite fun. It even feels different from the rest of the FE games while still having the same "chess" concept.

Oh yeah, I made little cake decorations and put them on my birthday cake. One was a pixel Ike and the other a Nintendo logo. xP

I decided not to buy Shadow Dragon because I already have the first remake of Marth's game, and that's good enough for me, especially since it has that second story that didn't make it into Shadow Dragon.

I was wondering why they didn't include the second half of Fire Emblem 3 in FEDS. I'm pretty sure they could have.

Probably because Shadow Dragon is a remake of the first game, not the third.

I mean why remake a sequel before the prequel?

There's supposedly a retcon in the new remake that supposedly wipes the second story from canon. Bleeding lazy.
