Lego Rock Band confirmed for X360, Wii, PS3, & DS

Lego Rock Band has been confirmed! It looks pretty tight to me. Probably because I'm a die hard fan of Lego and Rock Band. What are your opinions?

I didn't bother reading it. Is this a Lego game, or a Rock Band game? Either way, I really can't see it mixing well.

The only Lego game I really like is Lego Indiana Jones. I LOVE Indiana Jones, I was never big on Star Wars and I have never played Rock Band or anything but, it does LOOK cute!~ ^^

However, I can't see that many parents buying a $200 game for their tween kids to play on.

This is by far the stupidest idea I've ever seen. My faith in the gaming industries intelligence has left entirely. If you need me I will be building a spaceship in my garage to travel to planets with smarter game developers.

Rock Band is really starting to annoy me.. Why is it soo popular? I know that the music is good, but the gameplay sucks... How many titles are they going to have??

This sounds like the best idea ever. Well, not quite.

It would be the best idea ever if one could import songs from LEGO to the actual Rock Band and vice-versa. Because then you'd have a choice of playing as LEGOs or as Rock Bands, making this a virtual mod of Rock Band.

If they let you import songs, then it would definitely sell. At least Rock Band enthusiasts will see it as a $50 song-pack, with at least 70 songs or so.

A lot of the time the music is bad, and it's the gameplay that keeps it going. I really have no complaints with the gameplay. I agree that there are too many retail Rock Band / Guitar Hero games now. It should be exclusively DLC song packs by now - not that as well as more retail rehashes.

What's next? Disney Princesses Rock Band?

Wow. Brilliant marketing move, but obvious cash-in. I don't really see how this will actually add to the Rock Band franchise, but I expect it to sell like crazy.

It's really a mix of good music (Dead Kennedys, The Killers, Queen, Bad Religion, etc...) and bad music (Disturbed, Slayer, Metallica, Fallout Boy, etc...) meshed with really, really tight pick up and play gameplay which creates difficulty through the chart design.

See, thats where its a matter of opinion. I love the Disturbed and Metallica type songs in there, and also the rock. But yeah, the gameplay is solid, and things like the drums do take a little while to actually get good at.

As for this, I have way too many of these games already, I don't think I need another for awhile, especially one like this.

I doubt that since it's carrying the Rock Band name, the gameplay will be that different from actual Rock Band.

This is basically going to be a LEGO mod to Rock Band and, hopefully, a $50 song pack, not a change in gameplay.

Man, until there is a version of this that comes with a kit allowing you to make the body of the actual guitar controller out of lego, I don't care. My lego guitar would be so pimp.

No. That'd probably be the only Rock Band game that I'd be excited about buying.

Ugh. I'm so tired of Rock Band. I mean, it's fun and all.. and, actually, a Lego Rock Band doesn't sound so bad.
