A Third Game in the Fire Emblem Tellius Series?

I recently read on FE Wiki that there's a lot of fan speculation about a third game in the "Tellius Series"of Fire Emblem, which includes Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, Ike's games.

Fans apparently are thinking it's possible because of Ike leaving Tellius behind forever with Soren/Ranulf. I agree with this, as it's just like Link leaving Hyrule behind at the end of OoT, which led to MM. All the developers have to do is make Ike and Soren/Ranulf reach a new land, perhaps a new continent with new characters and of course, another sacred object known as the Fire Emblem (unless Lehran's Medallion were to somehow end up in this new land, which I doubt lol).

Another thing, the Wiki also stated that Ike could possibly have gone to Hatari, but this is misleading. It's impossible for him to have gone there because Hatari, after its discovery, was counted as a nation of Tellius, as stated by RD. Since Ike left Tellius behind forever, well, you know the idea.

I can definitely see a good possibility of the developers going fresh and making a true FE trilogy for the first time, as FE needs something like this to gain the popularity it so deserves.

And if they're going to make this third game, I still want Ike and Elincia to somehow end up together...please. xP

I hope this new Ike game will have an orchestra score, a generation gameplay, support, and other **** that made the FE series great. See, this isn't spam.

Or it could include the multiple difficulty settings, the significantly longer campaigns, more varied mission design and certain features like in-level saves that made the game less tedious as the Tellius Duolgy already has.

Fire Emblem has always been great. Purism sucks.

Anyways, I think another Ike game could be very likely. PoR and RD hit off pretty fine in NA (especially RD), and Ike's inclusion in Brawl is a bit of a sign that Nintendo's fond of him. At least, in the regard that they can make more money with him...

I would like to see another Fire Emblem with Ike in it. I would like to see more types of class introduced and more weapons AND to add more chapters. Radiant Dawn has 40 chapters...I wish they could make FE games a bit more longer.

I also wish for that generation system I've heard about, Snow. Sounds interesting. I can see it now, Ike gets a son/daughter with Elincia and that kid becomes comboed with Ike's strength, skill, and power and Elincia's wisdom, speed, and leadership. Oh how awesome that kid would be. And also, the leadership would probably be the biggest plus since Ike led mercenaries while Elincia led a whole country.

Oh, besides Ike leaving, there's another sign of a third game: he hasn't married yet like all the other lords have. IkexElincia ftw. Screw Geoffrey.

What's Fire emblem? Sounds like a loud of rubbish to me.

It is not.

Fire Emblem is the best series ever in my opinion. It's a strategy RPG where you take control of an army of units, move them around the map to defeat the enemy, and complete the chapter to move on to the next. It's like chess in a few ways. You also have to level up your units, class them up, and just get them stronger and stronger. Then in the final chapter, when everyone is strengthened to their fullest, you take out the final bad guy.

It's a dark series, teen rated sometimes, with a little bit of swearing, a little violence here and there, but the series is overall brilliant. And Ike is the best lord, imo, and I've played a lot of lords. The lords are the main characters and it's one thing that makes this series unique. Unlike other Nintendo series, there isn't a single main character throughout the series, but multiple main characters.

Ike is the most recent lord. If you want to play FE, I suggest you start with FE9 (Path of Radiance). It has a nifty tutorial system that guides you and the difficulty isn't too much.

60 Chapters...maybe I'm a bit too ambitious. I would like to see more difficult setting, and different types of missions. Weapons I would like to see are a flail and meteor hammer.

I hope they would focus on the graphics and improvement on the fighting animation. It just gets too repetitive in RD.

And no, 60 is perfect, if you ask me! I like it long!

The bosses are too easy to defeat. Like in FE7 they had the most strongest boss fights. In RD and PoR, the bosses just stand...well for the exception for Ashnard in Hard Mode.

FE7 towards the end, you had to fight off all the bosses that you have already fought but this time a lot stronger.

They should do that in the next FE game.

I dunno, I had a pretty tough time with Ashera in the end of RD and this was on easy. ._.

But yeah, keep the difficulty good. We don't want anything too easy.

Bah, give me advance wars/Command and Conquer/Starcraft/Warcraft anyday. At least I've heard of 'em.

Fire Emblem is basically Advance Wars, so if you like it you'd like Fire Emblem.

(Advance Wars is better though.)

Hell yeah. Advance wars is easily the greatest strategy game ever concieved.

Advance Wars is somewhat derivative of Fire Emblem (I believe Intelligent Systems makes both), so I would give Fire Emblem a try if you liked Advance Wars, seriously.

Are you kidding? That battle was way better than the one in PoR. It wasn't totally luck based anymore, and you actually had to use your brain this time to beat him or else it wasn't easy.

In PoR, you had to hope for at least an Aether or two to bring him down because of the turn limit. In RD, you could defeat him without using Aether, because I did. ^^

I do not want another game riding on the Ike hype. I would prefer a game that has great characters and a more unique battle system. How Fire Emblem will do that is a mystery, since the series hasn't really changed throughout the years.

Ike's games do have great characters. :/

And FE doesn't need to change a whole lot because it's great as it is. Its classic turn and chapter system should never be changed. RD was different enough for me anyway. It was longer, had the game in parts, you played from a number of different points of view, there were new class ups, and other stuff. Classing up twice is one thing that has never been seen before. So is having a game in parts.

And why should you care anyway, Golbez? You don't even like FE.
