Again, your fault. Don't blame Hector because you made a tactical error and got him killed.

Also, my Ike died several times in RD due to magic users, as his Resistance is ****ing horrible.

And no, it wasn't my fault. I didn't make an error. I put him against a lance user and he lost. Axes are supposed to be superior to lances.

EDIT: Also, I lost Ike once in RD and I never lost him in PoR until my second playthrough for some reason.

The weapon triangle does determine all victories. My Hector was able to defeat several sword users. You just got unlucky.

My Hector was practically invincible. Pairing him and Oswin is a great idea, considering how well they tank.

I'm pretty sure that Laguz slavery is considered social, economic and political corruption. Especially when it is behind the back of their ruler and was only available to the upper classes.

It's portrayed as being a vile practice stemming from hate more than anything. In RD the Begnion corruption is blatantly described as them wanting to milk Daein dry for themselves and use it to maintain their status in the world.

whoops, little slip! but the point remains the same, there was MORE to the conflict than just simple racism. Racism was THERE, there is no doubt, but other things moved the whole plot. There was already animosity between Daein and Crimea, dealing with the different ideals that each nation held. One regarded Beorc as the superior race and wanted to exterminate Laguz, the other was more tolerant of differences between the different races. Dealing with racism, but not focused on it.

A group discriminates against another for some time and keeps their status down. The victimized group eventually gets some strength and has the ability to strike back. **** hits the fan, it's a scary predicament.

There was some slight showing of racism of Laguz towards Beorc, but it wasn't anywhere near what they were showing of Beorc racism towards Laguz.

That's because it's not racism, it's vengeance for the racism. I'll get into this at the end.

I never said that they were going to be slowed down by conflict. I'm just saying that it's absolutely ridiculous to assume that everything will be fine and dandy. Sure, the leaders can get along in order to achieve a common goal, and they can also control their troops, and most soldiers will keep to their own people, but that doesn't mean that all the soldiers will get past their prejudices instantly.

As long as you think your race is superior to others, it is racism. It isn't limited to one group of people.

What you are telling me is that this guy is not racist just because he's a part of an group of people who were suppressed sometime back in history.

If you asked an African American slave of the 1800s how he felt about white men, you most likely would not get a response that suggested he felt superior to them. Blacks did not view themselves as being superior to whites, no race/group/sect etc. does when they're unquestionably overpowered by another. An African American slave would not be racist against whites, he'd be hateful. That's precisely what the Laguz are in RD, and that is a result of the racism that the Beorc displayed.

Well, she certainly didn't seem to think two men could even have sex, which is highly entertaining. People are afraid of things they don't understand.

Considering Matsuno is out of work, it'd be nice to see him end up at Intelligent Systems, he could probably make some nice additions to the series, he's a good ideas man and his writing is quality.

It'd basically be an SRPG dream team.

I hope it's a third Ike game because 1) it'd be a cool change to the series when making a true FE trilogy and 2) it'd be awesome to see the exploring Ike and Ranulf/Soren do. I also want a new lord to appear here, preferably a female since there's a bit of a lack of them lately, and that lord should be like a partner to Ike. Sort of how we had Eliwood and Hector together in Eliwood's story in FE7 and Eirika and Ephraim in FE8.

But be it a third Ike game or a brand new adventure with all new characters, I'm hoping for the announcement anyway. ^^

TW: Except Heather isn't the protagonist. Though I failed to add her to the team, I have heard she's heavily suggested to be lesbian.

Rajin: FE is not exactly kid-friendly, I'm afraid. PoR is T rated, for example.

Some of the older FE games were very violent and mature for the time. And this is the same company that made Captain Rainbow. Japanese video game companies don't care about homosexuality that much.

I bet that if a game is announced it'll be for the wii, Nintendo seem to be scrambling to bump the wii's lagging hardware numbers in Japan (it's doing Gamecube numbers instead of the Ps2/DS numbers it "should" be doing)

It was Skip, but it's a pointless distinction, the only reason IS wouldn't be able to include a gay character in one of their games would be Nintendo stopping them, which Nintendo probably wouldn't.

A third Tellius game should be mostly new, actually. If Ike is in it, it can't even take place in Tellius, and I'd like a new lord working with him. :]

My dream RD sequel is basically my fanfic lol. The only returning characters are Ike, Ranulf, Elincia and for part of the first chapter, Geoffrey.

I think if there is going to be a new fire emblem game coming out, then they should improve the graphics and animation. That should be there top priority. FE games storylines IMO are good.
