Tales of Vesperia Coming To PS3, Tales of Graces (Wii) Announced

According to this site, Patty (the new character in the PS3 version of Vesperia) has an attack called LittleBigChef. How cool is that?

Always good to see Japan giving LBP some love.

How long does a tales game generally take to be put on American shelves?

6 months to a year, it seems.

Vesperia was only about two weeks though, which bodes well I think (for NA anyway >.>).

@Grace, the screens where he is running round the different enviroments looks great but I think actually battles look a little bit worse, might just be me though.

I'm still waiting on Tales of Vesperia to come out for the 360.
Does it really have to take this long to get a PAL version?..

It's hitting in June, after Star Ocean 4, which is bull****.
And Dawn of the New World still doesn't even have a release date : ).

Same... =( And we never even got the sequel to Baten Kaitos, despite it selling the best over here.

And yeah, the game probably isn't that good, but it's the principal!

Guess it was so late in the Gamecube's lifespan that Nintendo couldn't be bothered doing a PAL release : /

DotNW was fun, but don't loose any sleep over it. The game could have bean so much better with the correct changes.

Since apparently it's got double the dialogue and voice acting, and it's a re-release sort-of-thing, I suspect it'll take longer.

A Tales of Vesperia demo was released on the xbox live arcade today (or at least within this week), which I wasn't expecting. They put a "This is a work in progress and may differ from the retail game" disclaimer at the start, which I found odd since the game itself should be identical to the NA release. It's looking pretty decent though so far.

Maybe because it could be the same early demo as the one that we got in NA?

Your party is at lvl20, and you're at a forest with a road block. Is it the same? I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same to be honest.

Sounds like it. I heard the demo sucks and isn't representative of the final game, btw.

Yeah, I figured as much. It's relatively similar to the Eternal Sonata demo (for obvious reasons), and that undersold the title too. You basically go through about 5 battles and some cutscenes, opening chests for HP and TP resto items, then you get killed by this big wolf thing. It lasts like, 20-30 minutes including the non-skippable cutscenes.

i cant wait for vesperia ps3, i hear it has new characters and bosses, its definately gonna be better than the 360 version, and i cant wait for tales of graces also, but it does have a weird name, i mean y tales of GRACES?

I'm in it for the additional voice acting, but I really hope we get an announcement soon that Vesperia PS3 will even get a US release. I have a sealed copy of the 360 version, but I don't want to open it if I can get a better version in a half a year. E3 would be the time for the announcement, if any.

I have no doubt that it will release in the US. You won't have it within half a year though.
