Your Favorite Video Game Swords

I had a thread like this a long time ago, but it went dead pretty quickly. It was only Nintendo's swords though, not all video games.

This time, what are your favorite swords or other weapons featured in video games? I got a top five. ;D

1. Ragnell
2. Ettard
3. Four Sword
4. Alondite
5. Brave Sword

Ragnell is easily first. This is Ike's big golden sword in Fire Emblem and it rocks. Its golden color is awesome as well as the fact it can attack from a distance. Ettard is another sword Ike uses and its strength and appearance just rocks. The Four Sword from Zelda is cool in the fact that it's uber powerful, it can split people into four, shoot beams, and the like! Alondite is Ragnell's counterpart and does the same things as it, it just doesn't look quite as cool. The Brave Sword is a regular weapon in Fire Emblem, but what makes it cool is that Brave weapons are the only ones that let you strike four times in one turn.

The Eternal Sword from Tales of Symphonia. Why? Because it makes it's wielder omnipotent. You simply cannot beat that.

1. Illumina
2. Caladabog (spelling?)
3. Masamune (all versions except FF6)
4. Lion Heart
5. Golden Sword

Illumina is such a good sword in FF6. Not only is it the strongest sword, a magic user can even become an awesome fighter due to it's sheer strength and it's chance to randomly cast Holy.

Caladabog is Tidus' ultimate weapon. The ultimate weapons in FFX were so broken, and Caladabog's numerous counters and ability to break the damage limit made this thing a beast.

Sephiroth's Masamune.
I don't remember what it looks like when Auron can use one.

And I can honestly say that my LEAST favorite is the Keyblade.

Nah, Frog's Masamune is much cooler.

I've never played Chrono Trigger.

Raiden's High frequency blade.

Pictures? Piccy-piccy-pictures?

(Like the nice gentleman above . . . times 4.)

There is nothing more satisfying then getting a kill with one of these after an epic clash.

The "sword" Frederic Chopin uses in Eternal Sonata. Why? It's the coolest looking sword in any game. I was always fond of the Double Helix sword Fierce Deity Link uses, too. Oh, and Cloud's huge sword is cool too.

Rather than looking smart, you look kind of foolish.

I'm aware that he had a bow in his hand. I said his claymore. If I had been able to get a picture of his claymore, I wouldn't have posted a picture of him with a bow.

I was hoping someone would recognize him and realize that I am correct.

Sorry, most of us don't live in Ireland, and therefore don't recognize your Irish/Scottish archer guy who supposedly has a claymore.
