Strange Nintendo...

I recently went onto the UK Nintendo website (UK Nintendo) and they had a HUGE thing on the DSi. Now I went back on the North American nintendo website ((You Have to Select US)nintendo) where they had practically NOTHING about the DSi on the site. All they had was this tiny little box at the bottom of the site that has a link to the official DSi website (DSi Official Web Site). Now on this website they have like nothing either except this stupid little Iwata Asks thing. What's up with Nintendo!? Shouldn't they get any person who goes on their website to see the new system so they MIGHT have a potential of buying it!? Nintendo is going to lose lots of profit if they don't get the message out there to as many people as they can that, "Hey, a new cool system is coming out". UGH! stupid nintendo...

That is odd. Bad publicity on nintendo's part.

Oh please, they're already making money left and right with the Wii and the DS Lite.

I sort of want the DSi to fail. *shrugs* But I know it will still sell like crazy...

Well, the DS Lite is still wounding and murdering poor wallets everywhere in the US, so they're probably trying to give it as much breathing room between now and April to continue to slaughter as much as possible.

At this point in time, if Nintendo of America started bringing more competent publicity to the DSi, then the DS Lite's breathing room would become incredibly cramped, reducing its homicidal rampage's effectiveness by an untold number of percentages.

The DSi will be bought. Do not doubt that. Though it won't burst out of the gates in a Usain Bolt type fashion, it'll have the legs to carry it far beyond the 200 meter finish line.

Also, assuming your brain is located in your skull and not your rectum, you should realize that the reason for this is that Nintendo does not want the DSi cannibalizing sales from the DS Lite.
