In the original we were stuck with reverse seasons, but I'm not sure about this one. :/

That's weird. They did go through the trouble of making the PAL name "Let's Go to the City" original and giving it its own specific content, so maybe they'd actually give you the right seasons. I haven't heard anything on that one. I imagine they would, because there are PAL-specific events, too, so they wouldn't make sense if they took place in the opposite season...

Right. If I started playing the GC Animal Crossing right now, it'd say it was winter.

Like I said, I have no idea about the new AC's seasons. But this info about PAL-specific events is new to me. (although one must keep in mind that PAL is both Europe and Australia... and New Zealand, which nobody cares about anyway. >_>)
