Sonic Advance 3

I know most of you have heard that Sega is comming out with this game, but how mnay of you actually have a beta copy of this?

Becuase I got a hold of that BETA, I can list the courses in the game (the ones that I have played):

Course 1: Route 99
Course 2: Sunset Hill (the music is the original Green Hill Zone music!)
Course 3: Ocean Base (this zone was the factory level I was talking about.)
Course 4: Toy Kingdom
Course 5: Twinkle Snow
Course 6: Cyber Track (based off of Techno Base from Sonic Advance 2)
Course 7: Chaos Angel
Final Zone: (no clue)

Also, one good thing about this game is that you can play the first 7 levels from when you start the game (at least in the beta you can).

Hopefully I can get some screenshots later.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

I've played both one and two and thought that they were excellent. They're the type of games that you can just pick up and play for 5 min and then put them down again without losing data or anything. On the other hand you can while aways hours on them without getting bored. Two is better than One IMO.

Yoshi: Any release dates? (I'm too lazy to go searching for them myself)
That beta version sounds pretty darn cool.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Ah, Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta? Yeah, I have been there multiple times, but I haven't joined the forums... I didn't even know they had a forum... *goes to look at the place again*

Hmm, well, I seriously doubt that Sonic Advance 3 will be an amazing game. Of course I am going to buy it, me being the biggest Sonic fan I have ever known...

I didn't really take a huge likeing to the Sonic Advance series, but I do like them, they are Sonic games, and I love ALL Sonic games, because... well... I do. But I have a feeling that SA3 is not going to live up to 2 or 1.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Psy gave a nice explination about SA3. It's cool how the characters you choose react to eachother. Like Psy said.

Sonic & Tails = Work along fine
Sonic & Knuckles = Hate eachother
Sonic & Amy = Amy is happy. 0_o
Knuckles & Cream = Cheese transforms into a Knuckles Chao.

Also, new sprites were added to show these relationships.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Ah, good to bring this back.

Im not sure if this will be in the final game, but you can switch the game to how it would look on a GBA, GBA SP, and a GB Player, by pressing R on the title screen. Obviously, GBA looks the best.

I did NOT discover this. Someone else did.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Ahhh.....I liked the first two, but I hope in this one, that they add more of a challenge to it. I mean, the first two are way to easy. Although all Sonic Games are, I wish they would make it a little harder.

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Well, Sonic Team decided to use more water, so that is more of a challange.

I know they use it in:

Ocen Base Act 2 & 3
Twinkle Snow Act 1, 2, & 3

Re: Sonic Advance 3

Good, Sonic has been having a lack of good water levels since... well probably Hydrocity. That was a great water-based level, with great music I might add. It's good they are bringing those types of levels back, but I hope they will put the water sheild in there somewhere, otherwise if the entire level is underwater than it gets incredibly hard. That is, if there are not air bubbles every few frames.
