Fire Emblem 4 brung more innovation in the series than any other Fire Emblem games. It had

-Lovers Paring: It's not your typical, weak support system in later Fire Emblem games. No, the lover system is the backbone of the gameplay in FE4. It can make or break the 2nd half of the game depending on who falls in love and makes babies.

-Weapon Triangle

-Extremly high replay value

Sigurd and Celice could destroy Ike in less than three seconds flat!

Anyways, from what I've always known, Seisen no Keifu is like what ALttP was for Zelda; it set the standard for the future of the franchise and established the core design elements that would continue to make the series awesome as time went on.

But I question your experience with RD if you're going to praise 4 as much as you do for the reasons you've given while saying it's infinitely better than RD.

Yeah, you know, I agree, Jeff. He does look like he could be from Sailor Moon. :/

And to me, RD looks like it may get put on the top of my favorite Wii game list. If only I could cram together enough money for it. Hopefully this part time job I'm trying to get will help. No matter what I do to earn enough, I so want to get it!

FE7 is the best FE game I've played. I beat FE7 and PoR, and got like half way through FE8. I just didn't like it enough to finish it.

Ike is alright, but I prefer Hector and Lyn.

I still have yet to play those GBA games. Luckily they're cheap at Gamestop. I love PoR to death for now, though. It'll keep me occupied until I can at least get my hands on RD. ;D

Ike and Elincia are both awesome characters. I'm fond of Boyd too. :3

Great series, it is. I've beaten Sword of Seals, Blazing Sword (FE7), Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn. I've played a bit of Seisen no Keifu and it was great.

The only Fire Emblem character who I think that looks like a character from Sailor Moon is Karin, Pegasus Knight from Fire Emblem 5. She looks like Ami to me.





Besides, if Sigurd was in Sailor Moon, the series would been over. Here's how the series would had been with Sigurd:

Sailor Moon Classic:

Sigurd: "Oh, Queen Beryl? Eh"
Wields his holy sword Tealfang and beheads Queen Beryl.

Sailor Moon R:

Sigurd: "Wiseman? Looks like a Lopotous Cult reject!"
Wields his holy sword Tealfang and slices up Wiseman

Sailor Moon S:

Sigurd: "Seems like somebody needs a haircut!"

Wields Tealfang high and beheads Mistress 9

Sailor Moon Stars:

Sigurd: "Finally . . . a battle of true swordsmenship!"

No seriously, my experience with RD is like Obama's experince with politics.

RD's on Wii, and in that case I'd suggest getting to know it better. It's an excellent game and brings about as much new content to the franchise as possible at the moment.

And Sigurd still looks pretty "male in a female anime". Cool guy, but he's not my favorite.

RD is basically something that only hardcore fans would appreciate, due to it being harder than most games today. If you haven't played it, you can't really call yourself a hardcore FE fan.

Ooh, it's a hard game? Awesome! Currently, I'm finding PoR to be quite a hard game, even on easy difficulty. Especially in chapter 17. Damn, was that tedious! I still managed to clear all four parts, though, despite the amount of frustration that was involved.

I so can't wait to play RD.

Probably not, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know they're illegal.

Anyway...damn. I got to chapter 27 (finally) in PoR, got Ike to the Black Knight for the duel, and DANG IT, HE DIDN'T USE AETHER. Had he used it, he would have won and not let himself get killed. Why does this battle have to be luck? >.<

And it's too bad I lost Lucia to an enemy's critical hit and she was at full health. How am I supposed to know when they do that? >_>

That game rapes faces. I should re-play it. But my copy is at my dad's house. >:T

Who are you to tell me what to do? I have the right to play what I want. I personally enjoy Path of Radiance a lot. Think what you will about the game, it won't change my opinion on it.

PoR is actually my second least favorite (After Sacred Stones). Sword of Seals, Blazing Sword, Radiant Dawn, and what little I've played of Seisen no Keifu are all better games. I would play Thracia 776, but I can't find a decent translation. Same with Monshou no Nazo.

I'll bet you anything I can. If I was able to play it I would.

No offense, Ranil, but if you're having as much difficulty as you are with Path of Radiance on Easy, I don't think you'll breeze through the older titles. They were naturally more difficult back then simply because the design wasn't completely ironed out as it was over the years.

And while I'm at it, I'd be cautious about RD as well. It's vastly harder than PoR, and there's no Easy difficulty setting.

I found Seisen no Kaifu harder than Thracia 776, because *looks ashamed* I got Julia killed by accident. Which makes killing Julius impossible, pretty much. But once I replayed it, I went through 4 easily enough. 5 is a nightmare no matter how many times you play it.

But yeah, I'm just going to say that 4 and 5 were the best, and if 4 and 5 were re-released for the DS as one game (you play 4 Part I, then Thracia, and the 4 Part II, as is the chronological order), I'd be the happiest man alive. Ranil, you don't know the meaning of the word Fire Emblem if you haven't played Seisen no Kaifu.
