Is there a reason that games like this don't come to the US? I'm just wondering --- is it because it wouldn't sell, or because game venues would feel bad about selling them? I saw that there's a bikini outfit that you can buy for one of the characters in My Life as King (for Chime), but read that it's only available in Japan.

It's a morality thing. We have vending machines that sell porn. Once you reach that stage morality goes out the window. Also in the US parents and stuff would complain.

I wonder if Nintendo will remove and preserve his brain when he dies. If they ever found a way to revive it and pull thoughts from it, they'd probably have an endless supply of video game concepts.
