Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Does anyone have it?? If you do what do you think of it? I just got it for my Birthday, and so far the story is REALLY good and it keeps getting better. It's addicting and very hard to put down. :-P

I've got Hotel Dusk. It's quite a nice game, and I enjoyed playing through it. The graphics look pretty good for a DS game, and I liked the hand drawn look to the characters and their expressions.

The main gripe I had with it overall was the speed the game progressed. It was slow. Some of the puzzles really didn't help it either, some of them being pretty hard to even find within the whole hotel, and wondering around the place attempting to find whatever little thing it is you'd missed can get quite tedious. Although I'd be more familiar with these puzzles on a second playthrough, the general speed of the game puts me off playing through it again.

I agree with DK. I really enjoyed the story, and I had a hard time putting it down when I was playing it, but the gam was very slow. To me that just about kills any replay value the game may have had.

Hotel Dusk has an amazing storyline!
I borrowed it form my friend so I could play it on my DS.......she didnt get the game back for quite a while XD

i thought about getting this game once. is it worth it?

^ I'd say it's definitely worth a playthrough if it's your kind of game, as in, you like games where you search around investigating things and trying to trigger a set motion of events. It's not really a "pick up and play" game, as you need to sit with it for a good while to get hooked in, but I think it's something to keep in mind.

I liked the game a lot. However, it has almost no replay value. I replayed it a second time months later when I forgot exactly how things progressed, and it was significantly less interesting the second time (and I replay Phoenix Wright games and still enjoy them).

That said, the game was really good. All of the characters were well-done, the sketchy animations were great, and the story was interesting. Just don't spoil yourself before you play it.

EDIT: I forgot, some puzzles use the DS in pretty clever ways, as well. The puzzles were also well-done.
