SSBM: what's your advantage?

My best advantage with Shiek would be my outstanding evasiveness. And speed, yeah my speed is pretty decent.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I'll go with speed too...

Fox is my fave and it's prolly because he's so swift...

and I like his moves...

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

What I am good at isn't on the list. I'm good at staying conservative when i need to and am aggressive when i need to be. It has always worked out for me. I guess you could call it being tactical.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I don't really have an "advantage". I'm about equally good with all the characters, except Mewtwo, who I'm not all that great with

I suppose I have a slight edge with both Marth and Roy, but their playing styles are very different, so I can't give the edge to speed or power or anything.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

Lets see...my favorite character is definately Roy. When using him I go for pure power! Flare Blade!!! I also use Sheik/Zelda and when I'm Sheik, my advantage is speed. When I'm Zelda, its countering my opponent's moves ^_^ (I love SSBM its a classic!)

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

The only characters that I am good with are Marth and Fox. Marth of course, is the guy I use mostly. I use thier speed mainly to evade attacks and perform quick, powerful moves and custom-combos. I dont consider thier speed and "advantage" though, the whole game is based on skill, and using a certain character will not magically grant you the ability to win because of the way the were designed to fight. I did not get good just because Marth and Fox are fast, I had to work on my technique.

For example, one of my most memorable duels was with my good freind, the user here Mr. Uranus. He played as Roy, I was Marth, both of which have completely different styles; namely power and speed. We both got down to one stock and I barely won with the fourth chain in Marths Sword Dance move, if it hadnt connected, I would have surely lost.

So there you can see, two people with compleely different fighting styles using characters built for different skills. Neither one of us had a true "advantage".

Thats the way I see it anyways...

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

It doesn't matter who I am, their simple attacks mean nothing to me. My paly is centered around trows and knowledge of the level for the most part, combined with cheap shots and good timing and character placement with ranged attacks i can defeat any enemy.

So pretty much my answer isn't up there considering i know how to maximize the throws with anyone and use anything to my advantage. If i choose though i prefer Zelda or Mewtwo i sope for the reasons i listed, oh and DK isn't half bad either.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I use projectiles alot. Only with Samus though, I'd charge up my beam, if anyone comenear me I roll away and continue charging untill it's charged. Then I fire a powerful missile (the type that doesn't chase them), followed by the charge beam, they'd dodge the missile and then it's too late to dodge again and, Ka-freakin'-Bluey... after that I go all out on them.

Other than that I use raw power with Ganondorf.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I use them all... all of them.

Erm, anyway, I really do. I use all characters all the time, and I do a decent job with them every time. The character I kick most ass with is adult Link.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

My best is Roy, so I'm somewhere in the middle with speed and power. I love to dodge other attacks and counter, but when I get mad or something other, I just go for raw power. No countering, just constant attack. Though when I know I'm getting beaten (which is very rare) I am really good at the hit and run technique .

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

i play as samus a lot of the time, ill occasionally change but im so used to her that i just dont play as well.
samus' low attacks are amazing and the ability to evade then plant a rocket into your friends face is just the best ability. if you pick up the spin attack its epecially fun giving you an extra spin so you can get people twice and jump further! very handy if someone is already high in the air - yea im a bit of a predator.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I love speed and evasivness ( Sorry about spelling).
I love putting my brothers in a rage by just pounding them with quick swift moves. And when they do start to hit me often I just teleport or just role out of the way.
My stratigy is simple but fun.

Re: SSBM: what's your advantage?

I used to use Kirby a lot, but now I use Samus, with the awsome tripple jump and the bombs as a nice distraction (and they also slow the other guy down), I definately have an advantage with her. The advantage is definately in the jumping, and some speed.

Yup, Samus is my character, no questions asked.
