Awesome. Saves me the time of making a thread.
It would be good however to get some basic information into the first post.

Electronic Entertainment Expo 2008
July 14th-17th
First of all, the Conference Schedule. Conferences start on July 14th, with Microsoft taking the lead this year. Conferences are usually the biggest part of the event, especially at the new, smaller, post '06 E3, where the hardware manufacturers bring out their big guns to blow away the competition.
The Schedule:
July 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM PST - Microsoft Press Conference
July 15, 2008 at 9:00 AM PST - Nintendo Press Conference
July 15, 2008 at 11:30 AM PST - Sony Press Conference
The open floor actual expo proceeds afterward with hands on time for the press. While this used to be as big a part as the conferences, most companies no longer put as much resources into the show floor. This of course could change.
Also, remember that certain companies that have recently withdrawn themselves from the ESA will not be making an appearance at the actual E3 expo, but will be holding their own events during the same time in hotels in the area, etc.
Now there are some certain titles and announcements that we are fairly guaranteed to see at the event, games that we already know about. This of course is nowhere near a complete list, and feel free to add any.

Now, for Square-Enix, we have heard some conflicting reports. In one, Nomura commented on how only projects that haven't been released in the US yet are going to be shown at E3, saving the rest for their August event. So in other words, we would see titles like Final Fantasy IV and Dragon Quest IV. An American S-E rep has stated that we will be seeing Final Fantasy XIII, however, which directly conflicts with the above. Needless to say, here's a partial list of what we should expect to see from Square-Enix.
For Square-Enix:
-Dragon Quest IV
-Dragon Quest V (Possibly)
-Final Fantasy IV
-Final Fantasy Tactics: A2 (Showing it off.)
-The Last Remnant
-Star Ocean IV: A New Hope
-Infinite Undiscovery
-Final Fantasy XIII (in video form, likely at the Sony Conference if anywhere, only possibly new. Expect more at the August Event.)
-Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon (Wii)
-Chrono Trigger DS
-Star Ocean: First Departure
-Star Ocean: Second Evolution
And I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of things.
Also, please note:
E3.net is NOT the official site of E3. The titles on their site have NOT yet been confirmed, unfortunately. Needless to say, check all sources.
Anyways, what titles and announcements is everybody looking forward to? Honestly, Professor Layton 2 is the biggest thing for me. Professor Layton was one of the best games I've played in a long time.
