Phantom Hourglass or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Darkness/Time?

Okay, so my brother has a GameStop gift card, and he is torn between Phantom Hourglass and Mystery Dungeon. I really loved the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, and I have enjoyed the little I have played of Phantom Hourglass. Which game should we get?

Tough call. If yoou've played the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon I would say PH. Its a good game but almst identical to the original with the addition of Sinnoh Pokemon. (I'm a Chimchar).

I've played and enjoyed both, but I'd have to recommend PH. PMD (and roguelikes in general) is kinda a hit and miss game, either you like it or you don't. PH has a much broader appeal to it, and I found it to be a better game overall. But if you've never played the older PMD games (from what I've heard the newer ones are pretty much the same) and you're interested in the series, go ahead and try out Darkness or Time, you might end up enjoying it as much as I did.

I do like Mystery Dungeon, I have the old one. But that's a reason not to get it, besides, I think I'm getting PH. Multiple savefiles is a blessing with siblings.

Neither of them are very good. Buy Professor Layton or Elite Beat Agents instead.
