Banjo-Kazooie

Did anyone here play the original Banjo-Kazooie games? I did and they're awesome. There's a new one coming out for the 360 this Christmas titled "Nuts & Bolts" that will allow you to build and drive vehicles. What did you guys think of the originals? And what are you thinking of this new game so far?

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

I've played only the original sadly. Haven't played Tooie, nor have I played the 2 ones on GBA.

I've fully completed all of them except Banjo Pilot. They really are great games.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

The two originals are really hard. I've never been able to even unlock all the levels.

I've never played the GBA games, but they should get a Banjo-Kazooie DS.

I've played and finished both N64 games. Can't get the new one though, because I don't have X-box...

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

I have beaten Banjo-Kazooie for 64 so many times. I freaking love that game. Also beat Banjo-Tooie once, but I just never got around to finishing it. I still don't own that. We only ever rented the game, so that's why I never beat it. I didn't even know that there were games for the GBA. I may have to look into those, since I loved the N64 ones. I am excited about the new one, which coincidentally I heard about just a few days before this thread was made, but I don't currently own an X-Box 360. Hopefully that will be amended by the time this comes out.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

This new game should've been for the Wii, but Microsoft had to go off and buy Rare. You know what I always say about Microsoft; If you can't beat 'em, but 'em!

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

I played and 100% completed The first one on N64.

Unfortunately, that's the only one.

I'm definitely getting nuts and bolts, it looks very good IMO

One of the GBA ones is a platformer, another is a Banjo Kazooie Kart racing game or something.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

I played both of the N64 games and I thought that they were pretty good even though I haven't finished them yet.

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

The originals were awesome on the N64. I really want to get nuts and bolts, I don't have a 360 though, but I am planning on getting on so I can play Nuts and Bolts...

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

Banjo Tooie was my favorite N64 platformer - I liked it even more than Mario 64. It looked beautiful, had huge daunting levels, controlled like a dream, and to top it off, it had a pretty fun multiplayer FPS minigame that killed just as many hours as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark did.

The 360 game looks alright. I'm not really looking forward to it, but it is nice to see something bright and cheery on the 360 for once.

I could never find the GBA Banjos....

Re: Banjo-Kazooie

I actually started playing the original again a few days ago after hunting down a copy of it. I love those games, they were my favorite games next to zelda when i was kid, they just make me happy when i play them. The next one will not be as good as the original but I will definitly get it, and I hope they don't ruin the series. and I'm open to change and new ideas, but usually when they put vehicles in games they get ruined (sonic), but I'm sure they'll pull it off.
