Talking Spyro

Does anyone else here play Spyro the Dragon games? I used to have all of them (except the mobile ones) but I sold the ones I never played at a GameStop. My personal favorite is Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage for the PS1.

Re: Spyro

Too bad that the games after the first 3 started to go downhill, especially Enter the Dragonfly.

Re: Spyro

I used to play Spyro. I got bored with it because I kept beating easy games, so now, I play harder, better games, like Twisted Metal.

Re: Spyro

After spyro 1, I might even go so far to say Spyro 2, the game sucked.

I agree, the first three games were awesome. There should be more platformers like them. The gameplay was so fun and original. The games that immediately followed the first three games were incredibly disappointing; they just didn't have the magic that the originals did.

I've heard good things about the Spyro game for the Wii (the name escapes me at the moment) so I might check that out.

Re: Spyro

I'm a huuuuge Spyro fan! ^_^

Out of the first three, Enter the Dragonfly is my absolute favorite.

Year of the Dragonfly is so glitchy that it gives me a headache. (But I beat it regardless)

I'm said that Sierra decided to give Spyro a reboot with "The Legend of Spyro," but I find it quite enjoyable anyways. I have The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning for PS2. Not a fan of Sparx.

Oh, and I really liked Season of Ice for GBA.

Re: Spyro

^ Yeah. That's when Spyro was at its best. Then, it was handed over to Universal Studios, and, quite recently, Sierra.

Insomniac makes great games, even their not so good games kick ass.

Re: Spyro

No arguments here.

Also, I loved it back when Spyro and Crash were like back-to-back heroes.

My favorite is the original. It brings back great memories. I loved the music and everything. Too bad Spyro sucks now.

Yeah, Spyro's a joke now. My little 11 year old brother loves his new games though. Hopefully his next game is better.

Dawn of the Dragon? It might be. You collect armor, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
