Re: The Megaman Thread

In b4 move.

If you want the real Mega Man experience, go play Mega Man 2.

(And get Firefox so you don't have to worry about such atrocious spelling.)

I don't think anyone can really explain the Wii. Maybe Miyamoto, but that's okay. The Wii is a lifestyle and a way of thinking. And it's not about money and popularity - although, printing money is nice - it's a voice that says, "Here I am and **** you if you don't wanna play me." And one of these games is gonna save the world. And that means wii can save the world - all of us together. And the chicks are great. But what it all comes down to is the zone: that indefinable thing when people catch something from waving their arms around like idiots. And the chicks and the whatever, all that is an offshoot of the zone.

Re: The Megaman Thread

The NES and SNES Megaman series are the best and I think that they will be never beaten. I don't think Megaman should ever had been converted to 3D, My opinion anyway!

From what I've seen/heard/read, you're better off not playing the 3D game

Re: The Megaman Thread

The only good 3D Megaman games were the Legends games, but the third game hasn't come out in like, 8 years or so, so you might not know about it.

Re: The Megaman Thread

I have the Mega Man collection on the GC. Not my favorite series, but the games are pretty good for NES platformers, I think I like old school Mega Man over old shcool Mario.

Re: The Megaman Thread

Never really played Mega Man that much. I think I played two Game Boy ones. Mega Man Xtreme and Mega Man and Bass. I here there is a Mega Man 9 that might be released on Wiiware, though, so I might check that out if it's true.

It's true--well, at least that there are (relatively reputable) rumors going about on a genuine Mega Man 9 title for release as downloadable content for the three next-gen consoles (360, Wii, PS3).

Protodude has posted several updates on these rumors as they come.

Note that I personally remain highly skeptical that any of this is real.

Apparently it's coming to XBLA and PSN but Wiiware doesn't offer enough space so it's going to just released normally for the Wii.

I played Mega Man 7 for SNES, it's ****ing awesome. Never played the Battle Network ones though, I think they're boring.

Re: The Megaman Thread

Megaman is one of those games that failed to evolve for the 3D era.

Along with Sonic.

May they rest in peace, instead of being endlessly resurrected and beaten to pieces by their respective owners.
