why do we fight over such silly things?

The gaming comunity is REDICULUS! everywere I turn, on every forum, chatroom, blog, even facebook and youtube, everyone always argues over which console is the best, and which game series is the best. Seriously, it started mostly around the 90's with the whole "sega vs. nintendo" shiz, and now everyones talking crap about every single company and games, and consoles and stuff, And it's SOOOO anoying. because really, It's like watching small school children argue about who's dad could beat up who's dad, it's rediculus. ALL of you people out there talking **** about some one elses game, or someone elses console or whatever, please stop because no one cares that you hate nintendo, or sony, or whatever and no on is taking you seriously. I've seen people having debates about nintendo vs. sony, and people say stuff like "I'm gonna come to your house and beat you up" or shiz like "your an ugly fag and I hate you" just because they have different opinions. Why are most gamers so opinionated and clingy that they will fight for a company or game that doesn't even care them? Do you honestly think nintendo gives a crap whether about you? Do they actually care what you think? Not really, as long as they are making money, they could care less.



Bottom line, please, everyone that is doing this (you know who you are) please stop.

First, it's spelled "ridiculous" not "rediculus."

Second, I wouldn't call all of it harsh arguing. I believe some of it is simply nonviolent debating as well. I won't deny the fact that there have been actual fights over such topics, though. *cough*What was cut out of Brawl thread*cough*

Nevertheless, my favourite gaming console would definitely be the '360 at the moment, just because the gaming library is excessively extended and contains a great amount of noteworthy games, too. On the other hand, however, with Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII coming up pretty soon -especially MGS4- we just can't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

As for the Wii, well it's revolutionary, right? The system has a couple of remarkable games, I admit, but that's it. Even though this is presumably the most balanced generation of all time, I really thought Nintendo would reunite its army of franchises again and win the console wars as they did in the (pre-)64bit era(s).

But if everyone always agreed with everyone else, where would the fun be?

My view on this is that it is in fact more fun to watch an arguement then to listen to everyone say the same thing, provided that they do have a reason.

Which would you rather read?

P1 - I love WW!
P2 - Me too!
P3 - It rocks!
P1 - I know isn't it so totally awsome?

Or...

P1 - I love WW!
P2 - I don't, and here's why.
P3 - No way, that's not true P2, and this it why.
P1 - Hmm. Maybe I should back up my points on why this game rocks.

Or something like that. It doesn't get anywhere without someone willing to take a sledge hammer to the other people's posts and opinions. More fun that way.

I don't make sense? You've just been upgraded to dickhead, a commodius dickhead. Now you can actually get hard and point yourself at a wall and show off powerpoint presentations without hesitation.

Secondly, making sense without posting is impossible. This is the internet, go grab a real life. And it doesn't require me to look up "relevant" in the Dictionary, simply because you're barely able of spelling the goddamn word initially.
