Xbox 360 Problem

I have one red light on my 360. It's the one in the lower right corner, and the screen shows error E74. I tried the stuff on the xbox.com support site, but it didn't work. Right now I'm leaving the Xbox alone, and will try the stuff again later. I'm wondering if there is anything else I can try before calling Customer Service.

There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement (see error 0102)

Not to be a downer, but this hardware failure isn't covered by Microsoft.

Crap. I know I can't fix it myself. Thanks for the explanation, there was nothing about that on the Xbox site. I hope the Best Buy warrenty will cover it.
