Nostalgia time!
Many of us have played games since the Arcade and Atari games. So what are some of your favorite games, that are now considered "retro" or classics? Keep it to games from the SNES era and before.
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse A platforming adventure game for the Genesis, starring Mickey Mouse. Don't let Micky and the fact that it's a Disney game fool you, this game was fun and challenging without being overly difficult. I spent many hours as a kid playing this great game. Ecco The Dolphin You played a dolphin, who is trying to save his pod after they were abducted by aliens. Fun game with great music Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game Me and my dad spent countless quarters playing this game back in the day. Great arcade game. TMNT3: The Manhattan Project Ah, I have many fond memories of this. I used to stay up to 3-4 in the morning playing this game with my dad. We beat it many times and it never got old. Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Hidden Treasure A Tiny Toons game! Another great platformer for the Genesis. You played as Buster in search for hidden treasure. Great game, and a pretty advanced platformer for the time, I remember being able to jump on the walls to get out of chasms. Battletoads and Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team It was so much fun being able to play as a Toad and just beat up on people. TaleSpin A game based off the tv series. Fun game, and extremely difficult. Then there are the obvious mentions like Mega Man, Mario, Sonic, Centipede, Galaga, Space Invaders, Pacman, etc. Thats basically my childhood in games (well the good ones).
