Scored with Mario Party DS!

I aquired Mario Party DS the other day, and let me tell you...

I'M LOVIN' IT!

(Ba-da, ba-ba-baaa! )

I know, many complain about the Mario Party franchise, but frankly, I don't give a darn. It reminds me more of the early Mario Partys for the Nintendo 64, yet it's extremely unique and does wonders for the DS! When I saw the trailer for it months ago, I instantly knew I'd love this game. And I was right!

You're mini. That's basically the story. The entire game focuses on this theme. And it's a perfect fit for the DS, it being a handheld and all. Many of the minigames (lolpun) focus on the mini theme, as do all the boards. Everything we'd find as regular sized or small, now dwarf the characters, which is a very interesting perspective. The graphics are great, the music is great, and the replay factor is great. You get to collect lots of stuff.

Mario Party DS is an awful lot like the original Mario Partys for 64, and have the same great feel. The minigames are highly original, and take full use of the stylus and microphone. You'd think that Nintendo would run out of ideas for minigames, but I guess not. And for that, I am thankful!

The only thing about this game that I think some might find as a drawback, is the fact that each game is ten turns. It's not a problem in the least though. With the boards and all going on, it just works.

The boss battles on this are great. I was very impressen when I had to square off against a collossal Dry Bones as he stomped around and tried to squish me.

Mario Party DS keeps the simplicity of the 64 version, yet brings its own uniqueness to the table. It's literally an epic win in the form of a handheld. I highly recommend this game for everybody! ^_^

(Oh, and Daisy is as annoying as ever... >.> )

Re: Scored with Mario Party DS!

I picked this game up a few months ago and I agree with everything you just said. The minigames on Mario Party DS are very good and entertaining. My only complaint is the boards are a bit small, but there big enough for 10 turns.

The plural of party is spelled with an "ies", not a "ys".

Partys = Wrong
Parties = Correct

I forgot to mention that its story mode that has ten turns per game. In party mode, you can go up to thirty five turns. And I forgot to mention the extra cool puzzle minigames that aren't part of the regular in-game. Oh well.

I'm sorry.

I'm guessing you don't feel up to getting a third copy? I probably wouldn't.

Thank you for that. The next time I need a grammar report, I'll ask my refridgerator.

I specially did that so I wouldn't mess up the original noun. If you don't like it, tough rocks. Go spam somewhere else. Thank you.

The last proper Mario, except for Galaxy, was Sunshine. I'm not playing all that spin-off bull****.

You many want to reconsider, many are quite good. Not the best, but good nonetheless. Some would argue that some of the spin-offs are better than Sunshine.

As far as I'm concerned, Mario and co. going go-karting together, play tennis or even team-up in one of the RPGs cannot be compared to the Super Mario series.

kthnx.

But Paper Mario beating Galaxy? Allow me to remind you that Galaxy exceeded Ocarina of Time in ratings, which is commonly known for "being the greatest game ever."

Yet I personally disagree with Ocarina Of Time actually being the best videogame ever created, but regardless.

Galaxy is amazing and The Thousand Year Door and the original Paper Mario for the N64 were pretty decent. Or, TTYD was comparatively decent and the first Paper Mario kicked some serious butt, but the original Paper Mario ever beating Galaxy is just a fairy tale in my eyes.

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME WITH MARIO KART! Except it's three copies so far... >.>

Anyway, I would love to have this game. I'm just a bit short on cash. I'm also a bit short on DS power and any way to charge it up... anyone know of where I can pick up a spare charger? :/

I have it and beat it. However, I never got around to play it until one 100% completion, of course. That's for retards and Koreans.

That said, a so-called "overrated" game isn't necessarily bad for that matter. You just made a senseless assumption based on nothing. And believe, Galaxy gets the praise it deserves.

Seriously.:O

Re: Scored with Mario Party DS!

Well, I played like 50% through the game... GTA IV and OoT make sense, they deserve those scores.

I seriously do not think that Mario Galaxy should be rated so highly. And now we're spamming.

You should consult it now. It's spelled refrigerator.

If it was so obvious, so wouldn't have spelled it wrong. By the way, if you're asking your refrigerator for grammar tips, you've got problems.
