Racing Games

I was going out to buy a good racing game for my 360 tomorow as I recently realised my only racing games are for the original xbox. My budget is £40. I am looking for a decent racing game, mainly with options for bikes and cars. I saw a game a while ago on gamer.tv where you could have either a truck, bike or car, all with different capabilities, but I cant remember the name. If someone has played a game like that, could ya tell me the name of it?

I am not sure which game you speak of, but Mario Kart Wii is pretty good. I think certain characters use motorcycles or karts, but I'm not very sure.

360 games then? Hmm... Forza Motorsport 2 is pretty good, at least I thought so.

weeee, I found the game after 4 hours of hardcore boring Googling.

Its either MotorStorm or MX vs ATV Untamed.... now which is it?...

I thought that FORZA Motosport game that came with the 360 was pretty good, but I don't know any racing games of your genre. Try this thread.

Project Gotham and Burnout are both pretty damn good.

I sugest Burnout Paradise or Need For Speed Prostreet/Carbon. Forza was good too.

I had Carbon for the Ps2 and I thought it was a total letdown :/ It didnt explain what was going on, why I was racing or any of that stuff.

And on the Canyon races, unless ya drive REALY slow, you cant survive.

And Prostreet? gimme a break. They took out my favorite part of NFS, the free will to drive wherever you want. Its back in the old ages of NFS now.


Anyway, after I found out that MotorStorm isnt out for the 360 I decided to buy MX vs ATV untamed. Very good, but gets hard to get used to it. It took me a while to get used to some of the stunts and how long I can do them for without dying, and also on just generally landing without dying.
