Pokemon - Platinum Version

G/S/C was my favourite generation, by far. There are too many weird new pokemon in D/P, but I like it for the Wi-fi features.

Platinum's new characters and Battle Frontier had better be awesome. And so had Giratina's origin form. I like Giratina.

We got Victory Road from RSE. That's pretty epic.

S'alright. Not a scratch on RBY Indigo League.

I wish Brawl had the R/S/E Gym battle music. That was one of my favourites.

I'll settle for the Dialga/Palkia battle music and the Cyrus battle music, though. They were two of the only good tracks in D/P.

The Dialga/Palkia Battle music is the second best Pokemon song in Brawl, IMO.

Do you have the time for a battle? I would like to see your pokemon team.

Sorry, it's 9:00pm, and I have lots of things to do before watching TV later. Definitely in the very near future, though, since I love battling. If I catch you online sometime tomorrow, we can battle then if you want.

I have no specific team, by the way - so people can't plan a strategy against me if I battle them more than once. I have a load of pokes that I choose from, since I don't like using the same team over and over again.

I look forward to our battle soon.

Methinks this thread should become the new official Pokemon thread...?

Giovanni actually had a pokemon killed in the process to show that he meant business, so he almost succeeded. Cyrus....he tried, and failed. Well, they both did, but Cyrus failed harder.

Think about it.

I believe the correct answer is "neither", but since it apparently matters... Hmmm, burned/exploded to death, or skewered/bled to death...? Gee, they both sound like such fantastic ways of dying. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that swords would cause more pain over a long period of time, as opposed to being blown to bits instantly.

..Eh, This whole argument is stupid anyway, since the series as a whole is not dark.

...And if the game was about cutesy bunnies and had a hidden message about destroying them, I'd call the game psychotic.

As for the music, I'd say that in my opinion, 1st gen had great battle music and good everything else music, 2nd gen had great everything music, 3rd gen was okay in everything, and 4th gen had good route/location music.

And so my entire post is not an off-topic mess, I'll add that the Torn World in Platinum looks interesting. However, as much as some of the new features would be cool, I'm pretty sure nothing will warrant an entire re-purchase and replay of the 4th gen.
